Members from Tamworth Kart Racing Club headed to Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour over the weekend for 2026 Coastal Clash.

Our racers brought home trophies and smashed personal bests. Massive thanks to our members that also headed across to officiate the event. Huge shout out to Larissa who stepped in last minute at Port to run the canteen and keep us all fed.

Our club had its AGM last night and the club would like to thank the outgoing executive committee for their work over the last 12 months.

We have some fresh faces on the committee this year!
President- Grahame Bourke
Vice President- Harry Green
Secretary- Susan Bourke
Treasurer- Daniel Moxon
Race Secretary- Larissa Pearson

Also at last nights meeting, Daniel Moxon was awarded with Life Membership for his 15+ years of services to our club. Daniel who is also an accomplished accountant has selflessly been making sure our books are rounded to the cent in this time. Thanks Dan!

Wagga delivered another huge weekend of racing and with just the final round remaining, the 2026 IKD KANSW State Series championship battles are coming down to the wire.

Local Matt Bourke travelled to the city so nice they named it twice over the weekend, Wagga Wagga for the Karting Australia New South Wales State Series!

Matt drove well all weekend and stayed out of trouble in the final to bring home 2nd place!

This puts Matt in a great position heading into the final round in Tamworth in November! Great work Matt!

🔴🔴🔴 TRACK CLOSURE 🔴🔴🔴

Tamworth Kart Track will be closed until mid-late October for track repairs.

A new surface will be laid between turns 3 and through to pit corner. This has been made possible by a joint investment of approximately $125,000 between Tamworth Sporting Car Club - TSCC and Tamworth Kart Racing Club

We can’t wait to host the final round of the Karting Australia New South Wales state series and the black plate in November on the new surface!

Works will also start at a later date to include lighting the track and pit area.

We look forward to welcoming everyone to the upgraded facility later in the year!
