After a lot of thought, I’ve decided it’s time to start looking for the right person to join Brody’s Detailing & Protection.
I’m not in a rush to fill a position, and I’m certainly not looking to hire just anyone. I’m looking for the right person.
As the business continues to grow, I’ve realised my next hire isn’t another detailer. It’s someone who can help shape the way our business operates and become a key part of where we’re heading over the next few years.
This role is so much more than answering phones or replying to messages.
I’m looking for someone who genuinely enjoys talking to people, building relationships, keeping things organised, improving systems and making sure every customer has an exceptional experience from the moment they first contact us.
One thing that’s really important to me is finding someone who brings ideas to the table.
If you’ve ever found yourself thinking, “There’s a better way to do this,” I’d genuinely love to hear about it. I don’t believe I have all the answers, and I actually hope the right person brings ideas that I haven’t even thought of.
I’m not expecting someone to walk in and know everything. I’m looking for someone who’s excited to learn, bring ideas and grow alongside us. I’d much rather hire someone with the right mindset and teach them our industry than hire someone who knows the industry but isn’t the right fit for our team.
The role will begin around 20 to 25 hours per week, with the goal of growing into a permanent full time position as the business grows. I’m not just looking to fill a role. I’m looking for someone who wants a career, not just another job. Someone who wants to take real ownership of their position and become an important part of our future.
Experience in customer service, administration, sales or the automotive industry would definitely be an advantage, but your attitude, initiative and personality are far more important to me than a list of qualifications.
We’re proud to be a small owner operated business. We don’t want to be known for being the biggest. We simply want to be known for quality work, honest service and a team that genuinely cares about our customers.
