IT'S TAYLOR BY TEN AFTER ROUND THREE!

Back to back and current Top Doorslammer Australian Champion Russell Taylor has a ten point lead in the Championship after Round Three at the Gulf Western Oil Pty Ltd Winternationals at Willowbank Raceway | Drag Racing's Finest.

Taylor - who know owns the quickest ET in the history of the sport with a stunning 5.55 leads fellow West Aussie and eleven times national champion John Zappia in second but Winternationals champion Emilio Spinozzi has closed in to within two points of Zappia in the battle for second.

Spinozzi's fellow Sydneysider Ronnie Palumbo is poised to strike in fourth place whilst West Aussie young gun Brodie Zappia sits fifth ahead of "The Colonel" Pete Lovering in the Shoebox 55' in sixth.

Canberran Jeremy Callaghan sits in seventh despite his enormous wreck at the Winters whilst 2025 Winternationals champ Rob Harrington holds down eighth.

Sydneysider Slammer rookies Salim Matta and Brody Davies occupy ninth and tenth respectively.

It's currently all WA and NSW with one lone ACT and one QLD gasser locked into the top ten as the Championship heads to Sydney Dragway on September 26/27 for Round Four!

This was an interview that Wade shot with Jeremy on the Friday of the Gulf Western Oil Winternationals.
Ironically, he was talking about the big difference that 12 months makes.
Later that day things took a dramatic turn as the Luci Civil Z28 was badly damaged in a crash during qualifying.
Fortunately Jeremy was Ok!
