We removed and rebuilt the transom to accommodate a new transom door, carefully filling and reinforcing the existing structure before boxing out and finishing the opening. Every stage of the project was completed with strength, functionality, and the original timber aesthetic in mind.

Splinter came in with a major leak through the garboard plank at the rudder, we pulled it all apart and found it didn’t have a rudder tube installed to stop water ingress into the boat, post rudder gland, we got a rudder tube made locally and reinstalled the whole assembly, dry boat from now on

48 Maritimo this week , we turned her into a game fishing weapon!
Our team completed the following
-installation of reelax 550 game pole bases
-installation of reelax 360 degree heavy duty rod holders to side decks
-installation of reelax 30 degree rod holders in lazarette
-remove old refrigeration from ice box and plug old mounting holes /gelcoat repairs making it watertight to make it a live well tank
-installation of jabco 110Lpm live well pump and plumbing including intake and overflow plumbing
-move Blackwater waste to allow 360 degree rod holder to spin freeley
