Good afternoon crew
Sunday on Shogun EAST COAST 31
The morning was spent with my beautiful wife on the harbour
Items done this morning
1. Bilges checked and pump tested
2. Seacocks check to make sure they were closed
3. Mousing line pulled through the mast and old mainsail halyard removed and brought back to the factory to have new ones made.
4. Scrap down the rudder and have a look at the eco system growing under the waterline , thank god its up on the slip next week.
And a run around sydney harbour in the tinny on the way back to the boat ramp.
Nice way to finish off the weekend.

Hello crew
Well another morning out on Shogun EAST COAST 31
But in another location at present
Balmain, waiting to go up on the slip next week.
Jobs completed today with the help and skills of Jase Emmelkamp
Thankyou mate, your spanner work is pricless.
1. New ignition switch
2. Oil and fuel filters done
3. Choke cable adjusted
4. Thermostate housing cleaned and resealed
5. Sea water strainer replaced
6. Large section of hull scraped clean. More to come tomorrow
7. New sail straps on furler, as the wind on saturday last week blew the jib open on the furler.
Ill have more photos tomorrow as i was a bit busy today to get on the camera.
Evey trip is a little closer to leaving

Welcome back crew.
It been a few weeks away but
All the distraction is done with
And the eyes are on the prize again
And the prize is Shogun EAST COAST 31
Genoa loaded today onto the furlex system
After hoisting this 6 times today the adjustments were made to the furlex system and we were on.
There is a small amount of tweeking to be done but all in all where ready to go with this sail
Jib leads are run and ready to go.
Main sail tomorrow
Then hull clean in 2 weeks time.
There will be some underwater footage coming your way with that section of the refit.
I can taste the finish line of sydney harbour days and the start line of lake macquarie.
