Starting from this month 🚙

NSW residents with an overseas driver licence must convert to an NSW Driver Licence if you're planning to stay on our roads.

Changes include:
👉 if you arrived before 1 Jul 2023, you have until 1 Mar 2025 to get an NSW Driver Licence
👉 if you arrived after 1 Jul 2023, you have 6 months to get an NSW Driver Licence.

Good Morning Learners,

There are currently three digital learner log book apps endorsed by Transport for NSW (Transport) and accepted by Service NSW – L2P, Licence Ready and Roundtrip.

From 29 February 2024, L2P will no longer be accepted by Transport for submitting learner log book hours.

Transport is moving to a single log book app model, with Roundtrip being the only officially accepted app moving forward. Transport and Service NSW are currently working on transition options available for Licence Ready customers, with further details in the coming weeks.

If your students are using the L2P app and are unable to submit their log book by this date, please advise them that their hours can be transferred into a paper log book at a Service NSW Centre.

Existing Licence Ready users can continue to use the app to log their hours until further notice. Be assured any hours logged in the Licence Ready app will not be lost.
