Happy Friday guys,

what better way to celebrate the start of Friday evening then with a spicey πŸ”₯ dyno graph.

Before "KNGS58" went back to Melbourne folllowing our initial build (which can be seen here... https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1F1P7pGCUU/) we managed to get it onto the rollers at West Ryde Service Centre for a power run.

And oh boy did it deliver power, producing 654rwkW on the Dyno Dynamics "roller" dyno. 😈😈😈

The torque value in the proper gear of 6th, was also spectacular with a peak of 1,101 Nm high in the rpm range in an effort to save the factory con rods, prior to the installation of the top-shelf component stroker engine that's already under way.

​The engine is tuned by Fabian@PureBoost with straight E85 of course, but it's full FlexFuel enabled too via the MHD Tuning platform. The super fancy PDS trans is Custom tuned by Rod@Sutphin Tuning.

As you can imagine the owner was blown away with the super significant increase in top-end power, given we added 150+ rwkW on top of the 500rwkW it was making when first delivered to us.

The car saw it's virgin race day outing at the first round of the Calder Park Rolls and it placed equal 5th outright, after losing to a 1,400whp R8 with twin snails. πŸ˜…

The G80 is back in Sydney now to continue this top-shelf build, so no doubt we'll be showcasing "KNGS58" again soon. πŸ˜‰

​we have another Melbourne based G80 in the workshop that has undergone a very significant Level Up. πŸ’ͺ

​The customer had unfortunately put a rather large amount of money into the build with a shop that will remain unnamed, but it only dynoed at 500rwkW with upgraded turbos on WMI (wtf, why no corn 🌽 juice?) and was underwhelming on my initial test drive. Not shaming the turbos used as they certainly appear to be an upgrade over the factory snails given the 500 Roller number, the choice of fueling and bolt-ons is what let them down.

​Anyway, we were tasked with getting the G80 properly movin' so out with the old (save the do88 manifold, for now) and in with the new!

​This G80 M3 Competition xDrive is now equipped with; pureturbos.eu 2+'s, Eventuri intake, Evolution Racewerks catless DP's & cross-over pipe, Akrapovic Exhaust System Evolution Line cat-back exhaust, port injection via a MOTIV Motorsport Reflex+ controller with Injector Dynamics ID1050's, Visconti Stage 1 LPFP upgrade, CSF Radiators heat exchanger with auxiliary rads and last but by no means least, a Pure Drivetrain Solutions Stage 3+ transmission with a transfer case upgrade and billet high-stall torque converter. We have gone full re**rd (do it properly, do it once) on the trans in preparation for a full-send Stoker engine build. A Titan Motorsports large capacity billet fluid pan was also added to the box following an arduous, but thorough break-in. πŸ˜†

​Oh, and the M3 is now riding on BC Forged KX-1's in a tough 19x10.5" Square configuration with super serious MT Street SS 285/35/19 rubber. Initial suspension upgrades were "only" KW V4's, with more put the power down pieces coming soon. πŸ˜‰

​The engine is tuned by Fabian@PureBoost with straight E85 of course, but it's full FlexFuel enabled too via the MHD Tuning platform. The super fancy PDS trans is Custom tuned by Rod@SutphinTuning.

​The car hasn't been on a dyno yet, but I suspect it's going to lay down North of 600rwkW on a Dyno Dynamics Roller dyno in lieu of the smokin' πŸ”₯ 3.72 second 100-200km/h dragy time recorded by yours truly. 😁

Oh and to the best of our knowledge this is an Australian G8x factory engine dragy record time. 😈😈😈

​We have a lot more go-fast goodies to install before this black beast goes back to Melbourne, but FYI this understated (which is about to change) SBM M3 is not your typical Akra & Eventuri equipped G80 with "all show and no go". So a word of warning to other G8x owners in Melbourne that rate their vehicle speed based on dyno numbers alone, you might just be heading for chopsville courtesy of KNGS58. πŸ˜…

Hi boys & girls,

I know it has been a while between drinks as far as posts go, but trust me when I say we have been "as busy as a beaver" in beaver 🦫 dam building season. πŸ˜‚

So, we have several exciting builds in the works, including a G87 M2 with pureturbos.eu Pure 2+ turbos, plus a long list of impressive supporting mods, a G80 M3 also with 2+'s and a Pure Drivetrain Solutions Stage 3+++ box with other top-shelf upgrades coming soon, a F80 M3 with Pure1000's and Precision Raceworks port injection following a stock engine swap and another G80 M3 that's being made ready for a Stage 4+ built stroker engine and pretty much everything else we can throw at it (in an effort to go proper quick) but the kitchen sink. πŸ˜‰

And besides all of those hard core upgrades, along with the more basic bolt-on jobs including MHD Tuning OTS Maps etc', we managed to Level-Up the G80 Green Machine πŸ’š with a Precision Turbo & Engine Next Gen Sportsman 8080, that saw us reclaim the Australian 100-200km/h record with a smokin' 3.16 dragy. 😈😈😈

This result was achieved in less than ideal temperature, with a complete interior etc' so in cooler weather and a bit more time in the seat, we are hoping to see a 3.0x all whilst keeping boost pressures at "only" 42-43psi which seems low these days. πŸ˜…

When time permits I'll do individual posts on the BSM (satin matte wrapped) G87 M2, SBM G80 M3 and F82 M4.

Hey guys,

As many of our followers would know, the Green Machine has performed spectacularly well on those little 2+ hybrids from pureturbos.eu. But with more tune shops than I can't count on one hand πŸ˜… coming for our Aus record 100-200km/h dragy time of 3.30 seconds, it was time to take this build to the next level of performance.

Enter a KLM Race Big Single turbo kit with a Turbosmart 7880 turbocharger, add in a fat AF custom 4.5" downpipe by our skilled in-house fabricator Caleb🧌who is also tirelessly on the tools, a custom single midpipe and 4" cold-air-intake and you have a very menacing sounding G80 that you hear, long before you can see. 😈😈😈

The 78mm turbo setup is not fully dialled in yet, but spool up is outstanding for a turbo of this compressor wheel inducer size with 20psi of boost pressure being achieved around 4,350rpm in 4th gear on the road. We'll be sure to post up dragy and dyno results, once tuning is complete by my boy Fabian@PureBoost via the MHD Tuning platform.

Happy New Year boys & girls. πŸ₯³ πŸŽŠπŸŽ‰

This is one of our "same day" DME unlocks, just performed on a seriously track focused G87 M2. 😈

It has been fitted with an interesting mixture of top-shelf and cost effective power mods, which I'll discuss in our next post inclusive of a dyno number.

The engine is now running on an E40 blend with a PureBoost Custom FlexFuel tune, via the MHD Tuning platform and a MHD plug & play FlexFuel kit. The factory fitted NGK plugs have been regapped for the higher boost pressure duties. We also performed an engine oil service wih with Ravenol VST 5W-40 and a Genuine BMW OEM oil filter. πŸ‘Œ

The 8HP is also benefiting from an xHP Flashtool Stage 3 TCU tune.

The heatwave that is currently blasting Sydney πŸ₯΅πŸ₯΅πŸ₯΅ will prevent any further tune revisions being completed for a few days. However the increase in engine power & torque is quite appreciable even on the Custom tune base Map, whilst remaining silky smooth. Please stay tuned for dyno numbers shortly. 😘

Hey guys,

We have more dyno action for the B58 enthusiasts in the form of a G20 M340i xDrive, that is now equipped with a pureturbos.eu Pure900 and optional T51r compressor cover that delivers a wicked sound.πŸ‘Œ

The original Pure850 had been on the car for a couple of years and had served the owner well, but with the 850 now discontinued it was a perfect time to Level-Up to the all new optimised big CAST housing 900. πŸ’ͺ

Here are two almost identical power runs back to back on the DynoTech "roller" dyno at WRSC performance. The first recording a very spicey 570rwkW at only 33psi Max boost pressure and with a modest 15 degrees of ignition timing advance no less. 😈😈😈

We've added around 40rwkW to our previous best dyno number with the older Pure850, with ignition timing targets remaining much the same.

Whilst the Pure Turbo swap was easy peasy, this M340i has a plethora of supporting mods that allows the 900 to shine. To name but a few of the mods, IAT suppression being handled by the CSF Radiators RaceX manifold/cooler & heat exchanger, fueling via Dorch Engineering and MOTIV Motorsport Reflex+ Integrated Port Injection, a Pure Drivetrain Solutions Stage 1 box, the cat-back is now from Akrapovic Exhaust System etc'.

Obviously the engine is running on straight E85, but with the Custom PureBoost FlexFuel tune the owner can run 98RON when corn 🌽 juice is not available.

I suspect a Mexico πŸ‡²πŸ‡½ run will happen on a cooler day πŸ˜‰ to evaluate 100-200km/h performance, which I expect to be mid to high 4's.

Oh and as far as turbo spool goes, we have the 900 producing 20psi of boost pressure at only 3,400rpm in 4th gear on the road, as tested from a 2,000rpm WOT. πŸ‘Œ

This spool speed is much faster than the old 850 was, which uses the same specification cold & hot side wheels as the 900. However they were shoe horned into the factory housings, which in comparison to the 900 was less than optimal.

Hi boys & girls,

I've been receiving a lot of requests to post more of the G20 M340i work we do, instead of boring G8x stuff all the time, lol.

So here are a few pics of a Carbon Ceramic rotor BBK 😍, that we installed on a long standing customer's G20 M340i xDrive.

The front axle is sporting 390mm Floating 2-piece CC rotors with a 6 piston Brembo caliper, the rear CC rotor is 380mm with a matching 4 piston caliper.

The removal of the dodgy & unremarkable looking floating single piston caliper/EPB has seen the need to install an external parking brake caliper that works flawlessly.

Obviously the reduction in unsprung weight is very significant when compared to a steel rotor set up of equivalent size, which greatly improves driving dynamics on a whole.πŸ‘Œ

Also this upgrade provides what many car enthusiasts would love, ZERO brake dust. This fast M340i makes almost 550rwkW courtesy of a pureturbos.eu Pure850 & other go-fast-goodies, so at full song it does require some serious stopping power. This kit does it effortlessly without covering those beautiful BC Forged NA "Brushed Bronze" RS45 19" wheels in painfully annoying brake dust. πŸ˜‰

Oh and the KW suspensions Variant 4 (V4) Clubsports referenced in a prior post have been fitted. Installed pics of this top-shelf coilover kit will be featured in a future post, so please stay tuned for that.

We have some KW suspensions action for you in the form of this super sexy 😍 Variant 4 (V4) Clubsport kit, that features external reservoirs on the front axle shock bodies with adjustable top-mount camber plates too.

The KW V4 Clubsports are being fitted to a G20 M340i xDrive, as part of a serious suspension upgrade path to see it turn corners faster than the previously fitted Bilstein Evo's would allow for. πŸ‘Œ

Hi boys & girls,

So around this time on Saturday afternoon last week, the Green Machine πŸ’š was being loaded up for transport from Sydney to Melbourne, to compete in Round 5 of the VIC Champ Series Roll Racing event at Calder Park Dragstrip.

A shout out to Deni@THELOWTOW for making the trip happen at the last minute direct door to door. The car was delivered around midnight, which gave the owner Rob just few hours of seat time on Sunday morning prior to the event. πŸ˜…

The G80 M3 Competition xDrive performed flawlessly in the big field over 7 races, five of which were against tough competitors and Rob ultimately took the event win, by beating the Evo "QUICK 9" in the final race of the day. πŸ’ͺ

We had better levels of grip at the start of the day with a warm track surface, but even though colder conditions late in the afternoon meant the car was skating in 2nd & 3rd gears, Rob was confident enough of the top-end acceleration to run with a passenger all day, in the final round too no less. πŸ˜‰

All involved couldn't be happier with the result of the Green Machine πŸ’š. The M3 has earned a well deserved rest from Dyno pulls, dragy 100-200km/h performance testing by yours truly 🀣 and racing proper, until the final round of the Season at Calder Park in November.
