Cumberland Ford Super 4s confirm 3 year deal at the Creek

In 2025 we saw a new entrant in the Sydney karting scene. Sanctioned by Karting NSW, the racing and come and try experiences focussed on 4 stroke karting. Why? Quite simply, cost. There is no better value for money than 4 stroke engines.

The inaugural series was well supported by the existing 4 stroke sprint karters and newcomers alike. The series saw the emergence of both the Tillotson based classes and Honda Novice and Rookie classes (Cadets aged 7-12). Both now have a healthy numbers.

From its inception, the operators of Eastern Creek Karts have been enormously supportive of the Super 4’s concept. That support was today confirmed with the signing of a 3 year agreement that will see Super 4’s continue at the Creek for the next three years.

Series co-ordinator, Mitch Lozina said “it is important that we give parents and competitors a feeling of security when it comes to them committing their money to something that is relatively new in New South Wales. While the Honda Cadet classes and the Tillotson classes are well established and proven oversees, we haven’t really gone down this path up until now. This deal is important to ensure that people feel comfortable going down this path. I thank the “Two Johns” for their support in making this a reality.”

Whether you would like to race or just experience 4 stroke karting, Super 4s will have what you need. Regular mid week come and try events will also become a reality.

Super 4s – 2026 Race Calendar

We are excited to announce the Super 4s 2026 Race Calendar, delivering another action-packed year of four-stroke kart racing.

Super 4s is a Sydney-based series dedicated to providing high-quality, competitive four-stroke racing in a friendly and social environment.

In 2026, Super 4s will again combine selected rounds with the Cumberland Ford 4SS Series and ERC events, creating bigger race meetings, stronger fields, and an even better atmosphere both on and off the track.

🔵 New to Karting?

We will once again have “Come & Try” karts available throughout the season. If you’re thinking about getting into kart racing, this is the perfect way to start.

The next step is investing in your own kart and entering one of our events.

As a general price guide:
• $2,500 for a quality, competitive used kart
• Up to $8,000 for a brand-new kart

Purchasing a kart for the first time can feel daunting, but Super 4s is backed by a strong community of friendly and experienced competitors who are always willing to assist and guide new racers through the process.

🔵 Super 4s Classes

The Super 4s classes are divided into three main categories, with weight divisions and engine options across most classes:

Honda Cadets (Novice & Rookies)
Focused on children aged 6–13 years, this category continues to prioritise safe development. Drivers receive quality track time and participate in dummy races, building skills and confidence ahead of official race competition in 2027.

Investing in a Honda Cadet engine is the best pathway forward, with KNSW working towards phasing the cheap and ultra reliable Honda engines into future Cadet categories. Honda race engines are supplied and sealed by ERC and can be purchased directly from ERC or Karting Solutions.
At $680 per engine, they require very little maintenance and offer excellent long-term value.

Junior 4SS (Ages 12–16)
Designed to bridge the gap between Cadets and Seniors, Junior 4SS is a crucial development stage for young drivers before progressing to unrestricted senior kart racing.

Senior Tillotson & 4SS
With the release of the new Tillotson 225RS, four-stroke karting reaches a new level of performance—delivering the ultimate in four-stroke power.
Torini and Briggs engines complete the Senior 4SS classes, offering trusted competition and consistently strong fields.
