🚗 Leave the car at home tonight! Thousands of extra public transport trips will run tonight and early morning to get you around.

🚏 Be aware that some buses will divert due to road closures, and some train stations will close or have changed entrance/exit points for crowd safety. Prepare to walk further than usual, plan your trip with a real time app.

Fixed Fare Trial
From 3 November 2025, all trips from a taxi rank at Sydney Airport to the Sydney CBD trial area will cost $60 for a standard taxi and a wheelchair accessible taxi or $80 for a requested maxi taxi.

This trial, which will run for 18 months, is aimed at providing price clarity and certainty for taxi passengers and at reducing taxi fare-related offences (overcharging and fare refusals).

💡Approx. 3,000 Aeronautical Ground Lights have been installed and they'll ensure runway operations in low visibility conditions.
