IAG understands the plight of the Subaru owner. If you cant wait 6 months for a machining shop to finish your EJ, go buy yourself an IAG Performance long or short engine. We did and haven't looked back, more oil pressure, no water pressure from leaking head gaskets, ready to race from minute 1.

Cody - After an interesting morning at Lakeside throwing the Lancer around for a bit of fun at round 11 of the SCMSC sprints, the team and I are now discussing the possibility of further developing the once $1000 challenge car. Seems to punch above its weight on a wet track already. Big shout out to Keith 4 Wheels for the Nankang tyres, they proved to be very competitive in the challenging conditions.

Zak - I had just one goal for this Noosa Hill Climb and that was to regain my confidence after my disagreement with a tree 3 years ago at turn 4. I had driven the car twice since then - in the pouring rain two years ago at Noosa on slicks and as a support driver for Cody at Gold Rush where I wasn't allowed to push and wear out the car.

The car sat since October 2022 and Friday practise at Noosa last week was its first outing. Massive thanks to Cody for prepping the car to have it perform with all its 260kw ( when it wasn't too hot ).

We were still on 5 year old tyres on Saturday where Cody crept into the 59's with me still in the 60's. Come Sunday afternoon with new tyres and some tyre pressure testing runs, Cody scored himself a 57.2 and I was sitting on a 57.8. On the last run I managed a 57.0 which is 1.7 quicker than my pb from years ago securing 1st and 2nd in class for Cody and I and 2nd and 3rd outright behind an open wheeler.

Got the bin chicken out of the shed for the Noosa Hill Climb. New tyres and fuel and she was good to go!

New pbs for both Cody and Zak with 57.2 and 57.0 earning a 1st and 2nd in class and 2nd and 3rd outright. (open wheeler 1st)

Wrap up of our World Time Attack Challenge . Massive thanks to the team, Tim Bryant gave at least 4 months of weekends and many, many more weekdays to build this car. Russell Gilbert has been with the team since 2012, and every year he just keeps giving more and more and working harder and harder. Kris Roberts and Wendy Roberts has been with us since 2014 and actively helping us build the car every weekend, organising parts throughout the week as well as preparing a complete spare engine to display at Pro Speed racing trade stand.

James Bryant, Ryan Foley and Cody Davidson were in the thick of the action, welding, fabricating, and throwing spanners till the late hours every night. Liam was our aero and general brains trust, he nailed the balance and worked at least a dozen weekends on the design and manufacturing of the aero and then turned spanners like a pro all weekend and many more weekends leading up to the event.

Zak, Holly, Jamie, Angel and Sarina did an extremely good job with fan engagement and kept up with my various and many demands over the weekend. Alister with us for a third year, is a sucker for punishment and just keeps turning up, is great to have a 3rd plumber on the team, your enthusiasm is infectious.

My brother in law Daniel Ross attended with his son Dave, thank you for all of the driving and fashion advice. We had many people help us during the weekend, Murray Coote, Jason Write and Brad Sheriff to name just a few.

It as always is completely humbling to be the recipient of your time, expertise and effort. Thank you!

Big morning on the boys Prepping for World Time Attack Challenge 2024

Timmy, Russell, Jay, and Ali have been busy trying to do some upgrades from last year's event.
A lot has been happening!

Big thanks to the boyss and girls at MCA Suspension for getting the MCA reads serviced and back. Standard off the shelf MCA reds have been in this car for over ten years now.

Also a big thanks to the boyss at NPC clutches in Brisbane for the custom design flywheel and tilton clutch kit.

Rising Sun Subaru rear sti drive shafts in now as the factory STI shafts have had a blown CV cup.

This weekend coming will be the major upgrade from last yeas WTA. New custom (bespoke) radiator and intercooler set up from the big man himself. Mr Dicktation fabication Ryan Foley Elite Fab Works.

The old IAG Performance 1150 short block matched with the RSS heads and Kelford Cams engine package made 538kw at all HUB. Lett's see what Brad from Racetech Performance can make with a better intercooler

There is alott more in the works for the car. We will update as things happen.
The boys want to drop the Subaru Ej times bya couplee more seconds this year.
Not sure what the Subaru Record is for WTA is? Probably Andy Forest lap of 1,26.9 I think, is the quickest?
