The Clouds Parted for an Epic May Race Day! 24/05/2026 🏁🌤️

The weather gods smiled on us just in time! The clouds and rain cleared away perfectly for some serious on-track action for our May 1/5 Large Scale club day at NSWRCRCC.

🚗 Sedans Out in Force! The Sedans absolutely dominated the grid today, proving that a bit of weather can't stop the wheel-to-wheel racing action. We saw some brand-new names stepping up into the A-Final, and the pace out there was engine-popping fast!💥

It was tight and highly competitive from the green flag all the way to the checkered.Huge congratulations to the podium finishers who managed to navigate the chaos and come out on top:

The Big Cars Are Back: Large Scale Racing This Sunday! 🏁☀️
Lock it in! This Sunday, May 24th, the 1/5 scale beasts are returning to the track at NSWRCRCC for another massive day of club racing.
What to look forward to:
• Sedan Grid Action: Expect incredibly close, competitive racing right down to the wire. The field is packed, the drivers are hungry, and who knows—who will take the checkered flag this time around? 🚗🏁
• F1 Glamour: The open-wheelers will be out to show off high-speed precision and clinical lines. Can anyone break up another Ferrari Dominance? 🏎️

🏁 2026 NSW IC State Championships Wrap Up 🏁

What a huge weekend of racing at the 2026 NSW IC State Championships! From close finals battles to dominant TQ performances, the competition was fierce across all classes with drivers pushing hard right to the final tone. A massive thank you to all drivers, marshals, volunteers and supporters who made the event another fantastic state championship meeting for the NSW IC community.

GT

The GT class delivered fast-paced racing all weekend, with Antony Wasson setting the benchmark early by securing the TQ and converting it into an impressive overall victory.
Russell Grenenger drove a consistent event to finish 2nd overall, while Rick Seymonsbergen rounded out the podium in 3rd after a strong finals performance.

Tourer

Touring Car saw some incredibly close racing throughout qualifying and finals. Tye Moylan secured the TQ after a strong qualifying performance, but in the finals it was Andrew Bardetta who came out on top to take the overall championship win.
Moylan backed up his TQ with 2nd place overall, while Nathan Sanderson completed the podium in 3rd.

The 1/8th class belonged to Tim Moylan, who showed incredible pace all weekend to secure both the TQ and the State Championship victory.
Michael Tohmeh put together a strong finals run to claim 2nd overall, while David Chen finished 3rd after a hard-fought event.

With the Masters class run in with the 1/8th group. Stiven Anastasov came away with the overall victory after a strong and controlled drive, while Steve Irvine secured 2nd place.
