Here are some technical specs of our aero package on the Shockworks WTAC clubsprint car.
The brief was simple, max downforce for a 1000hp car capable of setting a lap record on SMSP. The parts commissioned would be a combination system with our newly developed Universal Diffuser Sideskirts which would synergize with a concept not commonly seen, an out washing splitter design.

With 2 months to further develop and rnd a working aero package with CFD as well as the moulds for the new parts and approximately 250-300hrs of rnd and production. We achieved a splitter package which would match competitors within 5% and as a package exceeded in all areas, front downforce, rear downforce as well as drag reduction.

Numerically we produced over 215kg of front downforce at 160km/h and reduced drag by 30%.

Our skirts improved on conventional designs netting total downforce in most configurations instead of loss as well as an improved drag reduction with outwash elements.
Combined with the out washing splitter diffuser, they increased performance by 17%. This could not be done without the aid of CFD to visualize air streams.

It's to be seen how much of the CFD is validated in real life however it can be noted that even in the weakest configuration, they still out perform typical designs in a specialized ruleset such as clubsprint.

New time attack parts have already begun RND for next year and CFD will be continually iterated upon.

We've developed universal high downforce side skirts for WTAC. After many iterations of more complex trick designs, the simplest simply just works.

Diffused sideskirts tunnels. Seeing up to a total downforce increase of 1.5x paired with our front splitter. That's 100kg of overall downforce increase.
Most importantly we've maximised frontal gains for that ever elusive front downforce and being between the axles. Little change to centre of pressure for consistent downforce and driver confidences.

Carbon splitter rods are now available!

Incredibly strong and stiff yet retain some flex in the case of bottoming out protecting your chassis from damage.
Around 50mm of easy adjustment in the hardware.

Initial CFD testing for the WRX Clubsprint splitter package.

APR gtc-300 effective range 100-140kg DF
Target range for front splitter, 130-175kg
For slight rear bias according to WRX weight distribution

Flat blade is producing 90kg of DF. 160km@80mm ride height, maximum legal class height. At 0 AOA
180kg~ expected with all aero features active.

There's likely a loss of 10-20% real world numbers due to hardware, exact radiator flow and resulting pressure delta and a slightly higher race ride height.

More testing to follow!

Stuff like fender vents, cut outs and removing fender liners can all influence the down force, not to mention, adding big fat canards!

Good luck to UpSpec Performance with their WTAC CLUBS PRINT sessions. Finished up on Tuesday for a last minute front splitter custom consult and install package.
Clubsprint spec splitter with medium diffusers matched to a rear apr gtc300 wing.
Additional strakes which nest the OEM tow hooks and provide some more efficient airflow.
Super tight packaging, nests the subframe and perfect clearance between wheel liner subframe using all OEM available mounting locations.
Custom air dam to improve front end performancd
Power steering air guide to replace the OEM one lost with the removal of the under tray.

Weighing in at exactly 5kg.

This complete VB splitter package is now available at $2990.

Inquiries for our custom packages and install are also available and are highly recommended.

Splitter Diffuser Tunnels going out for testing
3D printed ones are intended for budget oriented setups to be moulded in or reinforced. Or to use as a test kit for finding your aero balance before commuting to a carbon or larger set.

Should be enough to balance out standard rear wings on an FR car.

Curved profile allows for a higher range of flow attachment during pitching.

And of course carbon fibre maintains lightness and stiffness when removing material to install.
