Dani Bee MK4 Supra šŸ’š

This one came to Kass Bodyworks through Shannons Insurance for hail damage, with PPF also needing to be removed as part of the process.

What makes this one special is I repaired Daniā€™s partnerā€™s car around 8 years ago, back when I was working from home and hiring a spray booth. 8 years later, theyā€™ve come back and trusted me again. Pretty cool looking back at where I started, what Iā€™ve learnt and where Kass Bodyworks is today.

Itā€™s been a hectic six months working seven days a week. Along with the bigger jobs, Iā€™ve had plenty of smaller insurance repairs coming through in between, keeping the shop constantly moving.

This Supra was our last big deadline car for the year.

My brother and I worked from Saturday right through the night into Sunday afternoon to have it ready for Dani to drive home to Queensland.
Also want to thank Jov Dokic doing these late nights with me to get the car ready for paint

Thereā€™s still a little polishing residue in the video. No staged wipe-down, no filters, no tricks and nothing to hide. What you see is what came straight out of Kass Bodyworks.šŸ¤™

We finished it last Sunday and I decided to shut the shop for a week to recover and reset.

Also, sorry to any customers or friends I havenā€™t replied to or gotten back to lately. The last six months have been pretty full on and Iā€™ve fallen behind on calls and messages. Iā€™ll be catching up with everyone now that things are getting back to normal. šŸ™

R33 GT-R | LP2 Midnight Purple šŸ’œ

The guys from Beyond Auto Performance sent this R33 GT-R over for a fresh engine bay paint job before the new built engine goes in.

The engine bay was previously satin black and showing its age, with some surface rust and paint peeling around the brake booster. The owner wanted it freshened up and colour matched to the exterior in LP2 Midnight Purple.

Weā€™ve been flat out lately and unfortunately didnā€™t grab any before shots of this one but sheā€™s now fresh, clean and ready to head back to Beyond Auto Performance for the built engine to go in

Another one completed at Kass BodyworksšŸ¤™

This vehicle came in for an NRMA Insurance repair to the right-hand side, where we carried out the required repairs and refinishing.

While it was here, we decided to go a little further. The left-hand side needed some attention, and the front bar had stone-chip damage along with a split that required repair. We rectified these areas, carried out the necessary preparation and refinishing, and completed the additional work at no extra cost to the customer.

None of this additional work was part of the insurance repair it was simply our attention to detail and wanting the entire vehicle to present properly and leave the shop to the Kass Bodyworks standard.

We also cleared over the pinstripes to protect them and bring the overall finish together.

Whether itā€™s an insurance repair, private work or a restoration, the same care and attention goes into the finished result.

Another happy customer and another one leaving Kass Bodyworks looking the way it should. šŸ¤™

A familiar S2000 back at Kass Bodyworks šŸ¤

A few months ago I painted the right-hand side of this Honda S2000. The owner was so happy with the result that he came back and decided to take it a step further this time having the left-hand side, bonnet, boot lid and rear bar painted as well.

For me, thereā€™s no better compliment than having a customer come back because they were happy with the work the first time around. šŸ™

I like to keep Kass Bodyworks small and hands-on. Every car that comes through the shop is personally handled by me, from the repair and preparation through to the paintwork and final finish. It allows me to keep a close eye on every stage and make sure the end result is something Iā€™m happy to put my name behind.

Things have been pretty busy in the shop and I completely forgot to grab some proper finished photos before the S2000 left šŸ˜‚ so a big thanks to the owner for sending these through after picking it up.

Thanks again for coming back and trusting Kass Bodyworks with the S2000 for a second time. Really appreciate the support. šŸ™
