Tasmania here comes the BMW Safari TS. For 2026 we are headed south to showcase the very best of Tasmania’s world-class riding. Beginning in Devonport, riders will set off on a carefully curated journey designed to highlight the island’s most iconic roads, landscapes, and regional hospitality. The route winds west toward the rugged beauty of Strahan, a picturesque harbour, that can’t be missed on a visit to Tassie.

From there, the tour heads back east through dramatic mountain passes toward Hobart, offering a perfect blend of tight twisties and flowing tarmac. Riders can enjoy Tasmania’s capital with a loop day and two nights in Hobart before continuing along the stunning east coast. The ride to St Helens delivers breathtaking ocean vistas, flowing coastal sections, and some of the most enjoyable riding in Australia.

The journey concludes in Launceston after five unforgettable days, leaving you with lasting memories, new friendships, and a deep appreciation for Tasmania’s incredible road touring.

John is always welcome at Procycles BMW Hornsby. He’s back for his third bike from us, trading his R1250 RS for this quality second hand R1300 GS Trophy.

This bike was a trade in good nick, but it still went into our workshop for a 40-point health check and a detail before it was allowed on pour showroom floor. Procycles want all of our customers to have a new bike experience … whatever they buy.

Asif is a passionate motoring enthusiast who has always loved his cars, but he also had motorcycle fantasies …. until recently when he decided it was time to get real and buy himself a motorcycle.

Peter is a long-time customer of Procycles Sydney at St Peters. He and his family are our family. They have all bought lots of bikes from us over the years … but today was an extra special occasion.

One of Peter’s all-time favourite bikes has always been the Yamaha R1. He owned one a few years ago but traded it in on something different. Peter has tried lots of other superbikes since, some have been great but none have come close to the comfort, useable performance and value for money of the Yamaha R1.

When Peter saw the added features on the latest model R1, he raced back to Procycles Yamaha Sydney on his modified Z H2 asking us to trade it on the Yamaha. The new YZF-R1 features a MotoGP-derived 200-horsepower 998cc CP4 crossplane engine, Bosch injectors, a lightweight aluminium frame, and a comprehensive state--of-the-art IMU-based electronics package. Key updates include aerodynamic carbon fibre winglets, radial-mounted Brembo Stylema front callipers, and fully adjustable KYB front forks.
