Most people got a 3-day long weekend… we’ve decided to stretch ours to 4. 😎

Our team works hard all year round, so we’re taking an extra day to recharge and come back ready to keep you safely on the road. 🚗

We managed to catch Danny standing still for long enough to snap a birthday photo…😉🍾

He’s the guy who always shows up, gets things done, and somehow finds time for everyone along the way. Customers love him, the team relies on him, and the local community knows just how much he does behind the scenes.

A great weekend at the Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo, with plenty of learning, a few laughs and some quality tunes along the way.

Now it’s back to the workshop — swapping the dance floor for the workshop floor and putting everything we learned into action. 💪

What a weekend! 🔥🔥

The ASC team recently spent time at the Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo in Melbourne 🔧

It’s always interesting seeing where the industry is heading - from advancements in diagnostics to the latest workshop technology and equipment shaping the way modern vehicles are serviced and repaired.

These events are a great reminder of how quickly things are evolving in the automotive world, and how important it is to stay connected, curious and open to change.

The team will be swapping spanners for seminars as we head to the Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo.

We’ll be spending the weekend learning about the latest tools, technology and repair techniques so we can stay up to date and continue giving your vehicle the best possible care.

Modern cars are constantly evolving, and keeping our skills sharp means we’re better equipped to diagnose problems accurately, service your car properly and keep you safely on the road.

We are still taking bookings and may be able respond via text so don’t hesitate to get in touch.

We’ll be back in the workshop on Monday, with a few new ideas and probably a wish list of shiny new tools.

How did they do? 🤣

✔️Jump starting batteries (100% charged now 😂)
✔️Tyre rotations (aka laps around the shop)
✔️Oil change (aka nappy duty 😅)
✔️Running diagnostics (full sprint with the scan tools 🏃‍♂️)

Safe to say… they may or may not have a long apprenticeship ahead of them…

‼️ROADWORKS ‼️

Due to the Sydney Metro works there will be temporary access changes to Charles St until July (yes, still the most worked-on street in Sydney!).

WE ARE STILL OPEN

🚦 Turning left from Canterbury Rd into Charles St is unaffected.
🚧 Broughton St closed at the rail overpass – access to Charles St is via Canterbury Rd only.
🚫 No right turn into Charles St from Canterbury Rd during peak hours: 6–10am & 3–7pm, Mon–Fri.
✅ Best detour: turn left into Close Street, do a U-turn, then use the traffic lights to cross safely into Charles St

If you’re visiting, just let traffic controllers know you’re heading to us and they’ll allow access.

Meet our newest “fuel-saving expert” from Ashbury Service Centre… Danny’s son 🔧⚙️

He’s stepped in with some top-tier advice:

✔️ Check your tyre pressure (apparently “it feels fine’ is not a measurement)
✔️ Walk when you can… even if it’s just to avoid reverse parking
✔️ Bring your car in so Dad can “have a quick look” (which we all know is never quick - so we highly recommend a booking 😉

👉 Now be honest… how did he do, and what’s you fav tip? Leave a comment below - just know he’ll he asking to check Dad’s phone for answers!

🐨 A Small Change This Long Weekend 🐨

As part of our commitment to looking after our team, this year we’ll be extending our long weekends from time to time.

It gives our crew a bit of extra time to enjoy the long weekends with their families and have a well-deserved break❤️

This Australia Day weekend, we hope everyone gets to enjoy a snag on the BBQ, a cold drink, and a reset. 🌭
