Have our kitchens started to look the same?
I recently attended the Kitchen & Bathroom Show, and one thing really stood out to me.
So many of the kitchens were beautifully designed, but I kept noticing the same trend, wood-look cabinetry, neutral palettes and very similar finishes. It made me stop and wonder...
Have we become so reliant on pre-finished boards that we're starting to lose a little of the individuality that makes great design so special?
Don't get me wrong, pre-finished boards absolutely have their place. They're practical, consistent and perfect for many projects.
But what if colour became part of the design again?
Imagine being able to choose **any** colour. A soft sage green. A deep navy. A warm terracotta. A rich charcoal. Instead of selecting from a standard range, you can create something that's uniquely yours.
To me, the most memorable kitchens aren't the ones that follow the latest trend, they're the ones that reflect the people who live in them.
What do you think?
Have our kitchens started to look the same, or do you think the current trend is here to stay?
