About me, I am a fully qualified mechanic located in Sydney's west who started my journey back in 2010. I started in the pits of an engine reconditioning workshop washing and learning what each and every engine part does in its role to make the final product the BANG! I continued my career working my way up and moving into one of, if not the most elite BRZ and 86 workshops in Australia. Taking part in the building one of the most powerful FA20 engines the streets and tracks of Australia has seen, producing 400rwkw and over 600nm of tourqe.
There was failures and there was wins I'm not perfect, but I always made it work, be it engine removals and repairs the night before a track day or starting at 5am to get your bosses car going again, to ensure he can make it home after he had spun a bearing on the way in to work, I worked hard fast and had what it took to make things happen.
Now I'm targeting you! The L67 market, I see it day in and day out on here. What's this noise? Why is my car doing this? I have chucked all these parts at it and wasted all this money!
Between 2013 and 2015 I built my baby a VS Calais (see pics), I didn't do it alone, I built a massive network in the L67 community and paired with my knowledge I built a massive understanding on how these things ticked. They are not fast, they will bite you and they will make you cry. But we love them, maybe it's the whine or maybe it's the bond we build with them, either way we keep trying.
Now I want to help YOU! I've hung up my tools and moved away from my mechanical trade but I still have that passion, that drive to work on, maintain and fix these cars we all love so much.
What am I offering?
My time and knowledge to help you build that dream and keep it ticking.
Option 1- Come to me. Bring your parts, your car and your time.
Organise a time with me and we will together, install the parts you desire/repair your vehicle. With the assurance of working with a mechanic to get it done right.
Option 2 - I will come to you.
Like the above but in the comfort of your own home.
What will it cost?
Option 1 - you pay for the parts and bring the laughs! This will set you back a flat rate of $200 for the day!
Option 2 - Again you pay for the parts but I will bring the laughs, the distance I travel will directly effect the cost which will be capped at $300.
Services I can offer you, include but are not limited to;
Basic service - oil and filter plus a full health check. (you dispose of any fluids).
Engine/gearbox removal - this can only be done in option 2 with you supplying the engine crane.
Supercharger and/or lower inlet mainifold removals. For A2A or W2A intercooler installs or porting.
Rocker/cam upgrades.
Everything in between!
Please note I do not offer porting or tuning solutions however can definitely point you in the right direction. Machining of heads and any components will need to be organised prior to my services being undertaken, and again I can point you in the direction you need to be going on.
I will be completing this in MY free time, I have no insurance and no monetary backing, but what I do have in the knowledge and the know how.
I WILL NOT TAKE SORT CUTS, if I am suggesting something it's because I have seen it before, like I said you bring the parts. I make nothing extra for doing it the right way, only you get the advantage! Of getting it done right.
I will be capped at one car per day, so if it's 1 hour or the full day it will still be the above price.
