Merry Christmas you legends 🎄

Just popping in to say a massive thank you from all of us at Voltek Automotive for your ongoing support this year. You’ve kept our workshop busy, our coffee strong, and your Volvo's very well loved.

We’ll be giving the spanners a rest and closing from Monday 22nd December, reopening Monday 5th January — fully recharged, slightly sunburnt, and ready to pamper your Volvo's all over again.

Sealed for life...... NOT!!
At VolteK Automotive we try to advise and educate against the Volvo sealed for life theory that is so commonly spoken of.

Using the best quality parts and lubricants for your vehicle, be it your daily driver or classic weekender will keep you motoring in comfort and confidence.

This Volvo came in with an issue of harsh shifting into D from neutral or park with an intermittent flaring between shifts.

Carrying out a full transmission flush using a Liqui Moly trans flush additive, 20lts of full synthetic low viscosity ATF1800 and a transmission restorer additive this transmission was operating as good as new without intrusive transmission repairs and costly overhaul repair bills.

So this customer thought his Mini Clubman was done for.

Let's see if the Liqui Moly touch can sort it, I said.

His transmission oil cooler had failed with cross contamination between both his cooling system and the automatic transmission.

We used a few Liqui Moly products, firstly being the transmission flush additive to help flush through the transmission with 20lts of Liqui Moly ATF1800.
Then with its final fill of fluid we added the Liqui Moly Auto Trans Restore.

Once the cooling system also received a similar treatment we road tested the vehicle to find all his worries and the symptoms of its loss of drive and harsh shifts had been fully fixed.

Now back on the road with an $8500 quote of a trans rebuild not being required he is another very happy customer having received the VolteK & Liqui Moly love.

FOR SALE, POA.

If you know me, or you know VolteK Auto you may have seen or at least heard about a couple of cars I own.

This is my 1995 Volvo 850 T-5R no history or description about its rarity needed so here goes on the important bits.
Currently covered 164,000km, and on club rego that is non transferable but will come with 12 months NSW rego.

This is number 20 of the 28 examples that were Australian delivered in 1995.

5 speed manual with every option available at the point of release.

This is as close to original as you can get.

Pictures don't do it justice, all the parts replaced and the work carried out is way too much to list so, if you are a genuine buyer it can be viewed at my workshop where all the work can be shown, admired and the originality appreciated.

Customer- " My car has a brake vibration, when can you take a look at it, I have had the calipers balanced but it didn't make any difference".
Me- WTAF!

On a serious note, it's not hard to clean the inner surface of the wheel properly and also use black weights.
