As many of you know we were at SMSP Eastern Creek last weekend. We were very busy with recoveries, the following video from the event was the biggest accident I have attended on and off the track in my 31yrs of driving tow trucks. With the fast response of medical and recovery crews they were able to assess the situation. There was a massive amount of fuel leaking and not a lot of room to extricate the driver. Additional resources turned up to assist ( NSW Fire and Rescue, NSW ambulance, RFS and the Careflight helicopter). We eventually freed the driver in a critical condition and he was transported by road to hospital.

I would like to thank the staff, medical personnel and Clark Motorsport safety for the support they provided during and after the incident. I’m grateful to be apart of this amazing team ( 2nd family) and all drivers should know they are in great hands when we’re on recovery duties at SMSP.
