Remember this story about the movie star Lamborghini that featured in the 2013 Wolf of Wallstreet?
It sold at auction in Abu Dhabi for a massive $1.35M USD.
Whilst this didn't meet the initial price guide of $1.5M USD, it's still a lot of money for a car that will essentially be a piece of 'art' and can't be driven.
π₯ Movie Magic π¬
In most cases where a Hollywood movie crashes luxury classics, they build replicas or 'look-a-likes' rather than using genuine models.
For the 2013 film 'Wolf of Wallstreet', Director Martin Scorsese decided to use a real 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary Edition to crash for a sequence.
The real Countach from the film sequence will be auctioned off at the end of November by Bonhams at their Abu Dhabi event that coincides with the Formula One Grand Prix at Yas Marina.
The price guide has been set by Bonhams at $1.5M - $2M USD.
