Do you have a spare 1-2hrs a week?

📣 Calling all budding mentors!

🚗 The L2P Program is in need of mentors to assist young people to achieve their 120 hours of driving experience while on their L plates.

✅️ Training, vehicle and fuel is all provided and you will be matched with a young person to then coordinate times that suit you both.
✅️ 1-2 hours a week is all that’s needed and flexibility for travelling away is not a problem.
✅️ Learners are given professional driving lessons before being matched to a mentor so they already know how to safely operate a vehicle.

The program assists young people aged 16-21 years who do not have access to a vehicle or licensed driver to get the hours they need to sit their P plate test.

Achieving a license is a huge step for a young person in rural and regional locations. It opens employment, education and socialisation opportunities along with a level on independence.

We currently have a growing waiting list of learners and a shortage of volunteer mentors!

The program covers Robinvale through to Cohuna and everything in between including Kerang and Swan Hill.

If you think this might be something you’re interested in and would like to mentor a young person while they achieve their driving hours, please reach out to the team on (03) 5033 2017 or email [email protected]
