Letās get into it.
Depending on the winds, we may limit your boat to remain within the River and not head into St Georgeās Basin. The conditions in the basin can get uncomfortable and unpredictable if the wind starts to pick up.
Our boats are not allowed to cross the bar. There is a sign that indicates where hire boats cannot cross, however this is marked by powerlines that run across from one side of the river.
Keep an eye on what is underneath you and stay in the channel. In places, the river is reedy and driving over them can cause damage to the boat motor.
The Navigation Markers:
If you are heading TOWARDS THE OCEAN the red markers stay on the right side.
If you are headed AWAY FROM THE OCEAN the red markers on the left.
In NSW, if you are boating alone, or are under the age of 12 you must wear a lifejacket at all times.
If you are a father and son (10yo) fishing duo- both of you must wear a life jacket.
We want you to be offline and enjoying your time on the water, but keep your phone off silent incase the weather changes quickly!
We give you our number (and all the safety numbers) before you leave.
If you are confused or concerned give us a ring, we will help you out over the phone or come out to see you.
We want you to have a safe and enjoyable day on the water!
