Today I want to celebrate Janae, who has achieved something very special: she is my first female student to obtain her driver’s licence on her very first test in a manual car!

And she didn’t just pass… she made only ONE minor error!

That is a fantastic result and a true reflection of the high level of driving skill, confidence and awareness she developed throughout her training.

What makes this achievement even more rewarding for me as her instructor is remembering where we started.
Janae began from zero, learning with me in my automatic training car, where our focus was on building the foundations of safe, confident and responsible driving in real traffic.

Once she had developed those essential skills, we moved on to the manual transmission in her own car, where we worked on mastering clutch control, gear changes and all the additional skills required to confidently prepare for her driving test.

And the result speaks for itself!

Well done, Janae — you should be extremely proud of yourself! It has been a pleasure watching your confidence and skills develop from day one.

And if, like Janae, you are starting to learn to drive from scratch, or you are preparing for your driving test in either an automatic or manual car, I B Driving could be exactly what you’re looking for.

⭐️ 5-STAR REVIEWS MEAN SO MUCH! ⭐️

Getting a 5-star review from a student is always incredibly rewarding. But when you read those reviews and realise that each student is consistently describing their own experience and highlighting the specific aspects of my teaching style that they appreciated most, it becomes even more meaningful.

For me, that feedback is not just a reward — it’s valuable information for future students. 🚗

Choosing the right driving instructor can make a huge difference, and genuine reviews from previous students give new learners an insight into what they can expect and help them choose an instructor who is the right fit for their individual needs and learning style.

I’m extremely grateful to every student who takes the time to share their experience. 🙏

Your success is my reward, and your feedback helps the next student make the right choice. 💯

A huge congratulations to Noah, who passed his driving test on his very first attempt! 👏👏

Behind every first-time pass is much more than simply learning how to drive. It’s about developing the right skills, confidence, awareness and decision-making to become a safe and independent driver for life.

At I B Driving, I’m proud of the exceptionally high success rate my students achieve. This comes from the attention to detail, patience and individual approach I bring to every lesson.

My background also makes a real difference. Before becoming a driving instructor, I had the rare opportunity to serve as a Specialist Driver in the Army. That experience developed a level of vehicle control, hazard awareness, discipline and roadcraft that I now bring into every lesson.

Whether you are:

😰 An anxious learner who needs patience and confidence-building
👀 A distracted learner who needs to develop stronger observation and awareness
🎯 Preparing for your driving test and want the best possible preparation
🌏 A driver with an overseas licence looking to convert to an Australian licence
👨‍👩‍👧 A parent looking for a highly experienced instructor for your son or daughter

…I can tailor my instruction to your individual needs and learning style.

🚗 Great instructors don’t just teach you how to pass a test — they teach you how to drive safely for life.

Congratulations again, Noah! First attempt. Test passed. Brilliant work!

🇮🇹➡️🇦🇺 After an amazing month back home in Italy (although it was definitely a little too hot! ☀️🥵), it’s been great to get back on the road, meeting new students and catching up with familiar faces to help them achieve their driving goals.

A huge congratulations to Hannah and Callum 🎉, who both passed their driving test on their first attempt! Fantastic effort—you should be proud of yourselves!

Every new licence is a reminder of why I love what I do: helping learners become safe, confident and responsible drivers.

🚧 As many of you know, the roadworks on the Tewantin Bridge are creating delays for everyone—including me! Please be patient, drive carefully and show respect to other road users. A little courtesy goes a long way in keeping our roads safe.

✈️ Final preparations before boarding the flight that will take my family and me to Italy tonight for the entire month of June!

Of course, I won’t stop driving—in fact, between Italy, Switzerland, and Croatia, I’m pretty sure I’ll cover at least 3,000 km… when in Italy, strictly with a manual transmission! 🚗⚙️

These last three weeks have been incredibly busy as I worked hard to help 15 students obtain their driver’s licence before my departure. I’m proud to say that 12 passed successfully, while the remaining 3 will have another opportunity when I return in July.

This is a fantastic result that reflects the quality of my teaching method and gives me great satisfaction as I continue my journey as a driving instructor with passion and enthusiasm.

🚘 Are you preparing for your first driving experiences, whether in a manual or automatic car?
🇦🇺 Do you need to convert your overseas licence to an Australian licence?

I B Driving is here to help you succeed!

📅 Be sure to book your lessons well in advance, as demand is extremely high during the upcoming school holiday period.

A huge thank you to all my students and supporters for your trust and commitment!

See you back on the road from 6 July!
