The first service is one of the most important milestones in a motorcycle’s life.

This bike is only 6 months old and has covered just 450km, but we still found several loose fixings — including the battery terminals — along with a small oil leak. All simple fixes, but each one had the potential to leave the rider stranded if left unchecked.

Don’t skip that first service. It’s not just about fresh oil — it’s about making sure your bike is safe, reliable, and ready to ride.

If your bike is due, book it in and we’ll make sure everything is spot on. 🏍️

This Yamaha MT-07 came in today for a service and the chain slider was worn right through. Luckily it had only just started to mark the swingarm. The chain l**e buildup was also excessive and needed attention.

Worn chains and sprockets can cause poor performance and even failure on the road. Make sure you check yours regularly, or swing by the workshop and we’ll inspect it for you. Better safe than sorry. 🏍️
