The iconic Ford Mustang has made it onto a stamp courtesy of the United States Postal Service.

This is the USPS's way of reaching out to the automotive-enthusiast community with a new set of limited-edition stamps that commemorate the American muscle car.

The Mustang is one of 5 US Muscle cars to make it with the 1967 Shelby GT500 the specific model featured.

For the Stamp Collectors out there - The five-stamp set can be purchased for as little as $2.30. Also, the USPS offers a wide range of commemorative options for those whose passion for Detroit metal is matched only by their love of philately. First-day covers run $4.50 and uncut press sheets will set you back $92.

CONFIRMED: Marcos Ambrose will race in the Daytona 24 Hour with Michael Shank Racing next weekend. Ambrose has been testing with the team while regular driver Oswaldo Negri recovers from injury. But the team has now confirmed that the Aussie will join A.J. Allmendinger, Justin Wilson and John Pew in the #60 Michael Shank Racing Ford-Riley for the January 26-27 race. But what's with the beard Marcos?
