This 2014 Subaru XV was in need of some additional repairs at its last service, so once the service was completed and the customer approved additional repairs, we went onto the aircon repair.

During the service inspection, AC oil was found leaking from the compressor which also indicates a gas leak. To complete the repair, we replaced the compressor and condenser to give the best outcome and improve the lifespan of this repair.

Come behind the scenes on what we like to call a baseline service performed on this 2022 MG ZST.

Our baseline service is the first service we complete on any customer’s vehicle to establish a thorough baseline of their car’s condition to date. We also complete the engine oil change, replace the oil filter, and do the full mechanical checkover which includes checking all accessible filters, brakes, suspension and tyres plus topping up any of the vehicle’s fluid levels.

It was time for a major logbook service on this 2014 Subaru XV, and they brought it to our team to complete.

This major logbook service included a brake fluid flush, front and rear differential oil exchange and an engine air filter replacement. We also completed some additional repairs, but stay tuned for more to come on this in our next reel 👀

This 2023 Toyota Hiace van has certainly put in the hard work with over 160,000kms on the road!

As part of its latest service, we checked and replaced the engine air filter, carried out a battery health check, and inspected and adjusted the tyre pressures. To round off the service, we also completed a coolant drain and refill, along with a differential oil drain and refill, helping keep this hardworking van running reliably for the kilometres ahead. 🚐💨

Due to a small vibration indentified in a previous service, this 2004 Toyota RAV4 came in for a manual gearbox and clutch replacement.

Having done just over 500,000kms, this car is now ready to hit the road again and continue to clock up those kms.

This 2020 Mitsubishi ASX was due for a major logbook service and came to us at the DTE Mechanics workshop to take care of it.

This logbook service included spark plug replacements, transmission oil exchange, brake fluid flush, and a cabin air filter replacement. Since the car was also overdue on a service, we performed an engine flush prior to replacing the engine oil to help prevent long term damage to the engine.

This 2013 Lexus CT200H Hybrid was due for a service, so join us as we complete its regularly scheduled maintenance!

While we were performing our thorough inspection, we found the cabin air filter to be deformed & dusty. We finished off our inspection to ensure there was nothing else to note before we notified to the customer to have this replaced.

Today at DTE Mechanics we had this Honda CR-V come in for a service.

During the check over we found multiple oil leaks from the rocker cover gasket, VTEC solenoid, front spool gasket and the power steering pump. Due to the severity of these leaks at the time of service, the owner opted to have fixed.
