A new Breakaway system and a surprisingly time consuming rewire on this trailer.
So many sketchy crimp connectors, a questionable trailer plug and some under size electric brake wiring all gone and brought up to a decent standard.

At least it would have been if 2 of the replacement weren't faulty!!! Sometimes you question your diagnosis, but facts don't lie and proper testing prevails in the end. A 3rd unit from a different supply had this old Cruiser back up and running.

This one took a bit to figure out...... strange faults with parking sensors and unusual readings at the plug. Why....bec...

This one took a bit to figure out...... strange faults with parking sensors and unusual readings at the plug. Why....because it was the wrong plug! 2 identical plugs in close proximity had been incorrectly hooked up during some panel repairs.
