Ignite Mechanical & Custom Ignite Mechanical & Custom is an inner Brisbane based automotive workshop

At Ignite we offer the following services:

- servicing and general maintenance for all makes and models
- electronic fault diagnosis and repairs
- performance modifications and tuning
- custom exhaust systems
- motorcycle repairs, servicing and modification (on & off road)
- machining, fabrication and welding services
- sound system installation

Owner Martyn Vandervalk has 10 years of experience

as a qualified automotive mechanic, working for businesses in Toowoomba, Brisbane and Kalgoorlie as well as working as a mobile mechanic for Lubemobile for 5 years, receiving numerous awards including Mechanic of the Year (2005, 2006), Highest Turnover (2004, 2006) and Highest Customer Request (2004-2006). His extensive experience over the years means he can quickly and efficiently diagnose and repair mechanical issues and is familiar with all makes and models. He has a long-standing interest in performance cars and can provide advice and services to help you get the most out of your vehicle.

Apologies to everyone who’s been trying to get in contact with me, I have been struggling with back issues a lot this year and have consequently made the decision to semi-permanently close/relocate the shop.
This is not a decision that has been made lightly and am working through it one day at a time.
To all my loyal customers/friends who have supported me over the last 11 odd years here at ignite, thank you so much. It’s been an amazing chapter of my life 🙂
