Walk on top of The Nut!

You can't come to Stanley without taking a closer look at this incredible landmark and yes, you can actually walk right around the top of The Nut!

The steep climb to the summit gets the heart pumping, but once you're up there, the reward is pretty special. Follow the track around the plateau and take in 360° views across Stanley, the coastline, Bass Strait and the surrounding countryside.

And don't forget to look down… Stanley looks pretty tiny from up here!

Not keen on the climb? No worries. You can also take the chairlift up and save your legs for exploring the walking track at the top.

So, pack your walking shoes, grab your camera and get ready to see Stanley from a whole new perspective.

And when you're done, there's nothing better than heading back down for a wander around town, a coffee and a well-earned treat.
