A super solid week, we definitely felt as though we were in the thick of it 😁

Well here we go again, our 30th season in motorsport. Event number 1 of 28 this year starting with the Bathurst 12 Hour where we will supply/fit our RaceScreen tear offs to almost every car in the field, plus a few support category cars.
Then straight to Sydney next week for round 1 of the Supercars Championship. It’s been a properly mad 7 days a week type effort since returning to work early January.
We live for it!

189 layers of film fitted to 27 V8 Supercars since the last race meeting for today’s Bathurst 1000.
Add to that the support categories of Super 2, Porsche Carrera Cup, SuperUtes and a few TCM and Toyota GR86’s, it’s been a properly crazy mountain load or work. Then we get to do it all again for Gold Coast next fortnight.
Each tear off set is layered up several months earlier, then cut to size and pre moulded to shape in preparation for the fitment. A lot happens before we even get here.
29 years of flying below the radar and showing all the drivers the way forwards ✅

It’s Bathurst week again & here’s a blast from the past. At the time we tried to run that windscreen past the manufacturer under warranty as a stress crack.
I mentioned that the windscreen had only suffered the slightest of impacts and that it just fell to pieces. The claim was going so well until the 6pm news…

Day 1 & just a few of the many RaceScreen windscreen tear off jobs, Thursday at Bathurst 6 Hour. Usually makes glass windscreens last around 4 times longer as an average in motorsport.

First race of the year for us, the Bathurst 12 Hour. A big week for us with 18 of the 22 cars in the main race running our RaceScreen tear offs. Also sorted most of the field in both the Ferrari and Combined Sedan support category paddocks.
Never gets old working on such cool machinery!

Back from Bathurst to Melbourne for a day to sort a few jobs, reload, reset and now on the road again to Sydney Motorsport Park for the rest of this week. Then driving further north to the sunshine state for a big street race. Then back to Bathurst again for the 5th time this year. Busy times!

My little bit at Bathurst done but I slept earlier. Big all-nighter of repairs for the DJR boys. Impressive effort. The Team 18 crew were still going at this ungodly hour too. Where else would you want to be at 6am?

We had the pleasure of fitting up the front and rear windscreens to this beast of V8 Supercars history a few weeks ago at Eggleston Motorsport. It’s running at the Bathurst 1000 this weekend in the Heritage Touring Cars class. It ought to be a popular category with fifty something classics in this field!
