Griffith Racing Team, established in 2014, Is the Formula SAE team based on the Gold Coast campus of Griffith University.

With members across all schools and levels of study we use time outside of study to design, build, cost and market a race car

Trimester 1 club sign on was a hit!

We had the privilege of chatting to new uni comers as well as seasoned students where we shared our knowledge of designing and building our competitor as well as sharing experiences of FSAE-A

GRT is proud to present our 2024 competitor, Bindy.

We revealed our newest EV last Friday at our Launch Night event and would like to thank all the guests that attended. We couldn't have built this car without the support of our sponsors, university staff, friends and family.

And of course, we are incredibly proud of the dedication and hard work put in by each team member this year. We can't wait to showcase the team's efforts as Bindy hits the tracks at the upcoming Formula SAE-A competition in less than 3 weeks!

To commemorate GRT's 10 year anniversary milestone, we're excited to introduce crowdfunding for the first time to help produce our best, most competitive race car yet.

As a token of our appreciation, we're offering some cool ways to donate and literally be part of our 2024 EV race car. This includes the option to "Adopt a Cell" and have your own battery cells in our accumulator named after you, or to donate and get a Personalised Decal of your name or face to be displayed on our EV! That's a wrap for FSAE-A 2023! This competition saw us compete in our first ever autocross and endurance events in an EV. We were unfortunately unable to complete endurance, stopping a few laps after driver change. Overall, we are proud of how far we've come as a team and look forward to fighting at the front next year.
A massive thank you to Monash Motorsport for their hospitality and support during the lead up to competition. Thank you to our sponsors, friends, and fellow teams that have helped us get to this point. We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday break, and can't wait to share all we have planned for next year!
