🔧 Suzuki Quad – Serviced & Ready for Work! 🔧

This Suzuki quad came into Big River Performance Motorcycles & Automotive with rough running issues, damaged front CV boots and in need of a full service.

We got stuck into it, replacing the damaged front CV boots, removing and thoroughly cleaning the carburettor, then carrying out a full service and complete check-over of the quad.

With the fuel system cleaned up, fresh service completed and the front CVs protected with new boots, we got the Suzuki running beautifully again and ready to head back to work! 💪🏽🐄

🚜☀️ John Deere Ride-On – Ready for Summer! ☀️🚜

This John Deere ride-on mower came into Big River Performance Motorcycles & Automotive with a poor running issue and in need of a fresh set of blades.

We gave the mower a good going-over, including a full service, removed and thoroughly cleaned the carburettor, and fitted new mower blades. 🔧

After getting the fuel system cleaned out and everything serviced and adjusted, the John Deere is now starting easily, running beautifully and cutting properly again. 👌🌱

All sorted and ready for plenty of summer mowing duties! ☀️💪

🚜🔧 Cox LawnBoss – Pick-Up, Service & Delivery 🔧🚜

This Cox LawnBoss ride-on mower came into Big River Performance Motorcycles & Automotive after we picked it up directly from the customer at Wooli.

The customer wanted a full service and the mower running better, so we gave the LawnBoss a thorough service and check-over, working through it to get it running properly and ready to get back into the yard. 🌱👌

Once the work was completed and everything was tested, we loaded it back up and delivered it straight back to the customer at Wooli.

For customers who can’t get their mower, bike, quad or UTV into the workshop, we can also arrange pick-up and delivery. 🚚

We removed the wheels and fitted and balanced new front and rear tyres, then refitted everything and gave the bike a check-over before sending it back out on the road. 🔧👌

Nothing beats a fresh set of tyres for improving grip, handling and confidence on the road. This Sportster is now ready to clock up plenty more kilometres! 🤘

🔥 Torana – Full Service & Weekend Ready! 🔥

This beautiful Torana came into Big River Performance Motorcycles & Automotive for a full service and complete check-over before the customer headed away for a weekend drive. 👌

We gave the Torana a thorough going-over, replacing all required fluids, completing the full service and checking the car from front to back to make sure everything was in order.

With all the servicing completed and everything checked over, she was ready to hit the road and enjoy some proper cruising for the weekend! 😎🔥

🔧🏍️ Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe – Emergency Road Trip Repair! 🏍️🔧

We received a call late one afternoon from a customer who had broken down while on a road trip up to Dorrigo. He managed to get his Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe over to us at Big River Performance, and we got straight into it so we could get him back on the road.

After inspecting the bike, we found a broken bolt in the swingarm assembly. The complete swingarm had to be removed to carry out the repair. With parts availability limited late in the day, we sourced the required bolt from one of our own bikes in the workshop and also welded and repaired several other damaged components we found along the way.

Once everything was repaired and reassembled, we plugged the Harley into our diagnostic scan tool, checked and cleared the stored fault codes, and made adjustments to the throttle response and idle to get it running nicely. 🔧💻

A bit of an unexpected stop for the customer, but we were happy to get stuck in and get the Softail repaired, back together and back on the road so he could continue the rest of his trip! 👌🔥

🔥 Yamaha Raptor 700 – Brought Back to Life! 🔥

This Yamaha Raptor 700 came into Big River Performance Motorcycles & Automotive after sitting around for a couple of years without being used and was definitely in need of some love. 🏁🔧

We went right through the quad, starting with a new battery before draining the old fuel from the tank and flushing out the fuel system. The injector was removed and put through our injector flow bench for a thorough clean.

From there we completed a full service, plugged the Raptor into our diagnostic scan tool, checked the systems and cleared the stored fault codes.

To finish it off, we carried out some tuning to sharpen up the throttle response, clean up the idle and improve the power delivery throughout the rev range. 👌

After sitting unused for so long, this Raptor is now running clean, responsive and ready to get back out there! 💪🔥

🔥 HQ GTS – Overheating Issues Sorted! 🔥

This tough HQ GTS came into Big River Performance Motorcycles & Automotive with an overheating problem that had been causing headaches for quite some time.

We got stuck into the diagnosis and found multiple issues contributing to the problem. 🔧

We started by finding a fault with the Moroso electric water pump, so we sourced and fitted a new higher-flow electric water pump. Further inspection also uncovered problems with the radiator, which was replaced with a new radiator to get the cooling system working as it should.

While working through the car, we also discovered the harmonic balancer was missing its retaining bolts, along with issues with the engine timing. These problems were rectified, everything was checked over, and the GTS was run and tested.

After chasing down each problem rather than just throwing parts at it, the HQ is now running beautifully and staying cool! 👌🔥

Great to get this classic sorted and back on the road for our customer Luke.
