Happy monday everyone! Josh has bought back his gq patrol for us to un cowboy 🤠 tune it after he decided to delete the shims in the United Fuel Injection pump and send the poor old silvertop with all the boost (well over 30 psi on a stock motor with the garrett turbo) to well over 170kw and 650nm at the wheels and it successfully deleted the head gasket to which good friend aaron at PBA Automotive Engineering PTY LTD got that all sorted and we now have put it back to a much safer 142kw and 480nm on the 35z at a much safer 24psi of boost we are actually amazed josh hasn’t sent the rods out the block how hard it was previously being sent 🕺🏼

Happy friday everyone! Yannicks gq patrol build is all done and dusted ✅ engine removal for replacement of old corroded timing cover and rear plate ( had bad coolant leak next to fuel pump area ) and re install new genuine rear plate and timing cover and derk blueprint waterpump with new lower and upper thermostat housing with all genuine nuts / bolts and gaskets and seals with taperlock and nut from Patrolapart & Navarapart yannick supplied us a 2nd hand United Fuel Injection 18g turbo on a g-turbo manifold so we replaced all exhaust gaskets (with genuine nissan multi layer) and stronger inconel exhaust studs and nuts ( from patrolapart ) with having to do new oil feed line and oil drain into a 2nd hand supplied sump with a brand new genuine rear main. While the motor was out the clutch was well worn and the decision was made to also replace it for one of ufi’s upgraded clutches on a machined flywheel with the factory step in it. This being an early gq silvertop engine we changed the engine mount brackets on the block to the later model to have the ability to use the much newer and better genuine 4 bolt nissan engine mounts this received all new fluids and filters and coolant and have carried out a wheel alignment as the front end was a mess when we have previously tuned it ( old run is red trace with safari turbo vs the 2nd hand ufi 18g which is the green trace ) this has easily made a significant amount of torque from 1600 rpm to 2400rpm from the turbo swap on a very mild 22.5 psi and a Super safe 20:1 afr Old set up was 126kw and 420nm to it now making 138kw and 470nm at the wheels 🛞 🕺🏼💃🏼🕺🏼

Matts bought down his immaculate series 4 gu td42ti for a service and checkover and a re-tune. It has a J-MAX ENGINEERING AND FABRICATIONS snorkel / airbox, has the factory ht18 turbo to a Jonny Tig top mount intercooler and its still using the factory ti 11mm pump! As arrived it made 81kw and 325nm its now making 105kw and 425nm! Thats a 24kw gain and 100nm at the wheels on those big heavy 35 inch beadlocks! 🕺🏼

Happy Monday everyone! Bens bought in his gu patrol for its first stage tune after a huge list of
Modifications has been carried out and its now done its initial “run in” on reduced power. Its a full built party TD4.5 Stroker buy the boys at Currie Bros Engine Reconditioners you name it, its been done ✅ United Fuel Injection 23l on a Tillix Performance and Tuning merge low mount manifold Cross Country 4x4 Intercoolers ultimate 100mm intercooler and there modified inlet manifold united fuel injections 250hp 12mm pump with new zexel injectors. Ben still is in the process of finishing off the car and its still running a smaller zd30 style airbox tucked up in the lh firewall to we have advised its gotta go and it needs a full 4” airbox and intake to turbo so theres one on order from Fatz Induction & Exhaust on the way. We are at the limit of the current airbox / intake and at a very safe 26psi its easily reeled off 150kw and 610nm at the wheels on 35’z once the intakes all sorted out with a bit more tidying up we will definitely be pushing this further. 🕺🏼

Brandons gq patrol is back on the dyno after installing the fresh United Fuel Injection 11mm pump and it has absolutely delivered the goods! As arrived with the stock 10mm pump it made 71kw and 300nm at the wheels and as predicted in this morning’s video it easly made 130kw and 450nm thats a nearly 60kw and 150nm gain on 35z!!! 🕺🏼💃🏼🕺🏼Previous items installed are a ufi 18g zd30 style airbox 4” snorkel and a Performance Diesel Intercoolers front mount intercooler.

Happy friday everyone! 🕺🏼🕺🏼🕺🏼 brandons bought back in his gq nissan patrol that is fitted with a United Fuel Injection 18g fmic zd 30 spec airbox and 4” snorkel, on the fuel side of the party it currently still has the factory 10mm pump! Making 75kw and 250nm we will be installing a ufi 200hp 11mm pump from Patrolapart & Navarapart to it today and we are aiming to make around 120-130kw and 450-480nm at the wheels keeping it sensible with the silvertop! Over to bens 80 series cruiser we fitted a united fuel injection 18g turbo, Performance Diesel Intercoolers massive front mount kit and transmission cooler with one of HDAutomotives airboxes and again like the 1hd-ft we only just tuned this also received the Tillix Performance and Tuning timmy #5 custom fuel pin and spring! From last weeks as arrived it made 60kw and 220nm to now making a massive 126kw and 540nm at the wheels 🛞 thats a gain of 66kw and 320nm!!!!!! 🕺🏼💃🏼🕺🏼 please note: its a 4 speed auto and the mid run dip is the converter locking up 🙏🏻

Caleb’s bought in his gu td42-t in for a tune it has a stock 11mm pump ht-18 turbo with the only addition of a Cross Country 4x4 Intercoolers intercooler with upgraded airbox and snorkel. As arrived 57kw and 240nm to 93kw and 340nm on the 35”z 36kw and 100nm gain. quite impressive for a factory pump and turbo!

1HD-FT WEDNESDAYS!!!!!! 🕺🏼🕺🏼🕺🏼 joes bought in his 80 series cruiser for a tune after its been to several workshops around Melbourne and none of them had a clue what they were doing!!!!! It had been fuel screw tuned to the moon and egts were absolutely horrendous 🌙 🤦🏻‍♂️ its a std ft pump now fitted with parts from Tillix Performance and Tuning using the timmy #5 fuel pin and there custom spring it has a Performance Diesel Intercoolers front mount mount intercooler United Fuel Injection 18g turbo Radius Fabrication airbox and snorkel and a set of +30 injectors. This arrived with flat 12:0 afrs the soot this pumped out not even our extraction system could keep up with we got to only 1/2 the run prior egts going well over 600 degrees. First thing we did was yeet the factory fuel pin and spring in favour of the tillix, previous tuners had no idea what the no boost was for and we have adjusted that accordingly getting the fuel pin all the way up and deliberately left the boost reference off to see what the off boost afrs were doing at 1,000 rpm steady state ( that means holding the engine rpm at 1,000 with wide open throttle ) we had still seen the afrs were rubbish ( from 12:0 to 14:5 ) so then onto the fuel screw to wind it out 1-1/4 turns so the steady state afr was now sitting at just over 18:1 and just kissed 16:1 as it hits the dip in the fuel pin to sitting on a solid 19:5 on boost all the way not loosing much power or torque in the process. Its now making a solid as 140.7kw and 610nm at the wheels on 35z 🕺🏼 and absolutely flys with no more soot or issues with egts! #80
