In 1965, Barry 'Bo' Seton won Bathurst on one set of tyres, stopping only once — to eat a chicken sandwich and drink a cup of tea. He'd gone without food all day and felt ill mid-race. Then he got back in and drove to victory.

That's the kind of man Bo Seton was. He died this week, aged 89. Our full tribute is on the site.

I’ve know Bo since I was in my twenties, and he was such a mentor to me in my early years building engines. I will remember all the laughs and late nights…..
