APR STAGE 2 ECU UPGRADES NOW AVAILABLE AGAIN

You asked for it, and now it’s here! Our renowned APR Stage 2 and 2+ ECU Upgrades are available again!

These upgrades maximize performance and provide more power than our lower stages, all without changing your factory turbocharger. The release of these stages applies to previous platforms!

PLEASE NOTE: Our Stage 2 and 2+ ECU Upgrades are being uploaded to our flashing servers now. It’s important to have APR, or your dealer, check for file availability before scheduling an appointment. We’ll prioritize all files with requests behind them. Typical turnaround time is 24-48 business hours during a normal work load, but during the re-release of Stage 2, expect some files will take longer due to the backlog of requests.

True 10 second daily driver.

While we were up at Heathcote Park Raceway doing epic things in our Skoda, we decided to test out our in house Golf R which also had a slight upgrade in some parts.

Wearing a new Garrett - Advancing Motion G25-660 turbo backed up by Galano Engineering Proflex ECU-TCU package we managed to get a 10.8 @130.8mph.

The best part out of this was, COMPLETE street trim. Complete interior, 3/4 tank fuel, stock 19inch Skoda wheels, Marshall tyres and luggage in the boot!!!. This car managed 4 runs late in the afternoon and the slowest being an 11.0.

We are looking forward to going back up with proper prep on this little rocket to see what it can really do.

🔥 1.7 tonne - 10.71 @ 131.4MPH! 🔥

We were unable to make the recent Euro drag day due to a conflicting schedule, however we did have an opportunity to head up to Heathcote Park Raceway the week prior for a shakedown on our Skoda Superb’s new set up.

Thanks to the support of Chris from Galano Engineering, the new set up proved to be a success. At full weight (minus the rear seat), the chubby Superb managed a first pass of 11.0 on cold tyres, which already surpassed the best time we were able to achieve on our previous set up.

After getting some heat in the tyres, and some tweaking of software, we were able to run consecutive 10.7 passes, achieving a best of 10.71 @ 131.4mph! This was all achieved on a completely stock and unopened EA888 engine & DQ250 transmission 😏

Our daily driven Skoda Superb proves the amazing outcomes this platform can achieve given the correct bolt on set up, precision ECU/TCU calibrations and quality workmanship!

We are eagerly looking forward to some further tweaking and weight loss, to see what we can get out of the shop mule 🚀

Many thanks to Chris @ Galano for helping us achieve what we’ve been chasing (would have been too easy in a golf..) and ensure the big girl was able to be drive to the track and driven back home without a single hiccup!

We would also like to thank Elite Euro Performance for their amazing hospitality and allowing us to borrow their hub dyno to dial in the Superb.

Safet Hodzic knocked on our door after spending months going back and forth trying to rectify performance and drivability issues with his stage 3 MK7 Golf R. Saf was unable to have his concerns addressed with the previous software and after doing some in depth research, Saf decided to join the EPCC / Galano Engineering family and approached us to sort out his pride and joy for good.

Upon initial inspection, we were quickly able to establish that the proven CTS BB550 turbo was nowhere near its capacity, boost came on extremely late, fuelling data did not align with what was expected from this build and the vehicle had one of the most difficult cold start’s we’ve come across on both 98RON & E85🌽

A re-tune to the Galano Engineering ProFlex Stage 3 ECU/TCU software has proven to be a wise choice for Saf as issues were quickly and easily rectified the below:

✅ Cold start on both 98RON & E85 sorted & tested on the coldest of Melbourne mornings! Start’s on first crank, every single time.
✅ Replaced the factory boost pressure sensor with a 5Bar EQT sensor, allowing us to confidently add more boost & fuelling where required.
✅ Vastly improved DSG calibration & street drive ability
✅ Configured boost-by-gear functionality.
✅ Introduced variable launch control capabilities (user configurable)
✅ Adjustable launch boost
✅ Enhanced engine protection safety & routine

With the fueling issues sorted, the results speak for itself. Saf's MK7 R safely and reliably now produces 310AWKW / 490NM on 98RON and a whopping 355AWKW / 550NM of torque consistently on E85. We also tested a variety of ethanol quantities and mixtures to ensure the Galano ProFlex software is on point every single time.

This was all achieved in a day’s work - Thanks for trusting us with your pride and joy Saf!

We decided to finally put our Cupra Formentor to the test and see what these new gen4 engines have to offer.

Impressive is an understatement, 12.8 1/4 mile @ 105mph on STOCK TUNE!! The only aftermarket parts fitted at this point are:

Racingline intake pipe and elbow
APR open pod intake
Remus catback exhaust
Eibach lowering springs.

We still have an assortment of aftermarket parts waiting to go on this beast with the addition of some very spicy software which will turn this car in to an absolute menace.
