This is not a post i ever thought I would have to write.
But unfortunately I need to write it.
The night of the 25th of march 2026
Dad (David bell) has unfortunately passed away.
As you can all imagine it is an extremely emotional time for my family.
Please respect our privacy whilst we figure out life from here without him.

Please refrain from calling our family and only reach out via message at this time.

Dad/Pop's you will always be missed and loved by
Luna , Skye , Kellie and Myself.

It is finally official thanks to Capricorn Society and Burson Auto Parts and Ballarat Towing Service.

We have finally finished the install of our 6 tonne 4 post hoist so we can now work on your cars easier.

Today marks the anniversary of the 1998 Linton bushfire which tragically claimed the lives of five CFA firefighters from Geelong West Fire Brigade.

Today we honour and remember the loss of Matthew Armstrong, Jason Thomas, Chris Evans, Stuart Davidson and Garry Vredeveldt, and the sacrifice they made in protection of their community.

CFA will always remember and reflect on Linton and honour the sacrifice made by our brave volunteers, and so will we. Our thoughts remain with the families, friends and colleagues of Matthew, Jason, Chris, Stuart and Garry.

Gone but never forgotten
