Nick Ashwin took over from the established Neal Lowe Motorsport at the start of 2009, to become NA Autosport & Engineering. Nick worked for more than 10 years in Australian and international motorsport for various teams including Atkinson Racing, Suzuki Motorsport Japan and Europe, Possum Bourne Motorsport, numerous Chinese teams and many Australian teams. This culminated in many race wins and sev
eral championships for the above teams and people. He spent the previous 4+ years prior to the take over, full time with Neal Lowe and completed some very interesting projects. In this time with the above teams and people Nick had worked in many different sectors of the motorsport industry, often building whole cars from a brand new vehicle stripped to a bare shell to a fully prepared race car in a matter of months. Nick often completing all tasks himself including engine, transmission, differential build, rollcage, suspension and body shell fabrication, set up engine, differential and chassis electronics calibration and final vehicle testing. While we are well known as Mitsubishi Evolution Specialists, we perform work on all performance vehicles having had experience with many different vehicles from Euro Supercars to production car racing vehicles. In recent years we have become well known for engine tuning, we are able to supply and install all MoTeC electronic systems as a dealer. Also more recently we have purchased an extensive range of tuning equipment to allow us to tune almost any vehicle, without "piggy backs or band aids". We can tune the vehicles original ECU the way the manufacturer did, allowing much more tuning scope than many of our competitors. This tuning equipment allows most truck, SUV, 4x4 and almost all passenger cars, motorcycles and tractors to be tuned. Our workshop is equipped with a Dynolog Engine Dyno, Dyno Dynamics 4WD chassis dyno, extensive fabrication/ machining equipment, an engine building room and three hoists for general servicing.
