It's looking a bit soggy this weekend folks!
Jokes-aside, please stay safe and never attempt to drive through floodwaters. Take it easy and drive to the conditions.

The forecast models are largely unchanged for the upcoming significant weather event, however, in the most recent run, the heavy rainfall is expected to spread further south, to affect the Hunter, Central Coast, Sydney and Illawarra coasts by the weekend. Falls between 100-300mm are possible. Pockets of even higher totals between 400-500mm are possible through the next week.
The NSW SES is asking residents in low-lying areas in these zones to prepare now for possible flash and riverine flooding.
The Bureau of Meteorology are closely monitoring all river systems and will update their flood watch daily and we will share this information as it does change.
To prepare for possible flooding, you can do the following;
⬜️ Secure all loose items from around your property.
⬜️ Roll up rugs, move furniture, electrical and valuables to higher levels.
⬜️ Place important documents, medical supplies in waterproof cases.
⬜️ If you choose to relocate, take your pets with you if safe to do so.
⬜️ Keep clear of creeks and stormwater drains.
⬜️ Do not drive through floodwater, it's not worth the risk.
People in areas prone to flash flooding should monitor the latest weather forecasts and warnings and be ready to move to higher ground should flooding develop.
