FTE Swap

This 105 landcruiser owner was having some trouble getting his 1HDFTE conversion to start, he had wired up the whole thing himself at home with a PDI conversion loom.

After checking a few things it was found everything had been done right and it was just one wire that was missed in the loom.

Joined the wire, got the first start and idle, wired up a PDI tacho converter for him while I was there & replaced the map sensor connector with a new genuine unit.

This 75 troopy had been leaking water through the top of the rear door with difficulty closing the door, on inspection found the door window frame had cracked, the hinges and some hardware was worn out causing a poor seal on the door.

Repaired the window frame, repaired the wiring harness, replaced the hinges & catch with genuine parts, resulting in a door that operates like the day it left the factory!

FTE Unichip X installation with splice crimps and milatary grade black glue heatshrink for added strain relief.

This requires a genuine terminal removal tool to ensure ecu terminals and connectors are not damaged.
