A great example of a Nugget Gold LS1275 in for a service this week.

Came in as a worn out 1098cc with no compression in one cylinder. Left as a hot 1217cc road rocket.

-68mm Flat top Russell Eng. pistons. Off set bored.
-forged 1.4:1 rockers
-modified 202 head with cooper valves
-HS6 SU on water heated manifold
-Maniflow extractors with RC40 muffler
-MK2 S close ratio gear set
-Wedged crank
-Lightened flywheel
-Sports electronic dissy.

A long term build but Thanks for your patience Mike. Is super fun to drive, hope you enjoy it.

Big congratulations to Steve on a cracking run up RobRoy on the weekend for Round 6 of the . Going sub 25sec on his last two runs is not something that happens very offer in a historic Nb Mini. Well done Steve great drive.

Note - 0.3sec off the class record, may just get that with some warmer weather.

Historic Group Nb Friday.
The Blue one (Steve’s) was in for a fresh motor and box and dyno run in, tune and power check. The White one (Luke) is for a check over ready to take on his next event.
Steve will be completing this weekend at Haunted Hill for Round 6 of the Victorian Hillclimb championship.

MED dog box in for a rebuild with Mini Spares L*D, straight cut drops and diff gears, competition pick up and pinion support. Going in a NB hillclimb car. Now onto the motor Steve Wilson.
