Standardising fleet vehicle fitouts can improve consistency, simplify procurement and make future rollouts easier to manage.

However, successful standardisation does not mean installing exactly the same shelving and equipment into every vehicle.

Different technicians may carry different tools, perform different tasks or operate from different vehicle models. The objective is to create a controlled fleet standard that covers the majority of requirements while allowing defined variations where they are operationally necessary.
