WE WON.
To say I'm still in disbelief would be an understatement.
To be recognised with the 2026 Excellence in Micro Business Award amongst so many hardworking local businesses is an incredible honour and one I certainly don't take for granted.
I'm not going to lie, there has been plenty of blood, sweat, hard work and even a few tears along the way. Our fourth year in business has been our most challenging yet, but moments like this make you stop and realise just how far you've come.
This award isn't just for me.
It's for our clients who took a chance on us and trusted a small local business to support their projects and allowed us to grow.
It's for our suppliers, local contractors and support businesses who help keep the wheels turning and ensure we continue to deliver the high standards we're known for from handover to return.
It's for my team. Charmaine, who provides invaluable support behind the scenes and helps keep everything running smoothly. Cas, Your Social Bestie. who has helped bring the Sergate story to life and showcase what we do and share to our community.
And Elliot, who is always helping with very minimal complaints. Whether it's lending a hand, solving a problem or jumping in wherever needed.
It's for my family, especially my Mum, who has spent countless hours being my babysitter, taxi driver and biggest supporter along the way.
