There’s a lot happening inside the AllBrand Caravan Services workshop right now. 👇
From major insurance repairs to roof replacements and solar upgrades, the team is keeping plenty of vans moving through the service centre.

One caravan has come in for an insurance repair and is being upgraded from aluminium cladding to composite panel walls, along with some additional work requested by the customer.

Another has had a complete new roof fitted — and while it was in the workshop, the customer decided to add extra solar capacity with an additional 100W and 200W panel.

We’ve also got:

✅ Exterior trims being fitted
✅ General servicing
✅ Insurance repairs
✅ Work on wind-up caravans

Sometimes the best time to tackle those extra upgrades is while your caravan is already in the workshop.

It's a full house yet again and this is just the holding yard.

On most days it’s like Queen Street here with over 50 vans on site as well as the vehicles getting repaired at our sister company sandgate auto electrics .

Luke is investigating a clunking noise coming from a caravan air conditioner on startup. After removing the air con cover to take a closer look, he found the cause. Here’s what he said…

"Good morning, Luke here. This morning I’m investigating a noise that the client was complaining about, where it clunked on startup from his air conditioning.

I’ve pulled the cover off the air con unit to gain access to it, and look what I found: wasp nests. This one’s still wet, and as you can see in this bucket, there are a lot of nests that have been up here.

You can see from all the mud, and even this here goes on top of here, so it was sticking. You see it’s stuck. That had actually stuck to the mud that was here.

I don’t know how one can keep an eye on this, but this is something to be wary of. If you hear a clunking noise, turn it off because it may have wasp nests up there or something else.

We’re going to clean this all up, check the codes in the air con, and go from there. Thank you."
