Admin assistant / all rounder
We are a family-owned, fast-paced mechanical workshop based in Sandgate, specialising in fleet servicing for local businesses. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and organised Administration Officer to become an essential part of our team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a busy environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
About the Role
As our Administration officer, you will be the first point of contact for customers and play a key role in keeping the workshop running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Answering and directing phone calls
· Booking jobs and managing the workshop schedule
· Invoicing and general accounts administration
· Providing friendly and professional customer service
· Ordering parts and liaising with suppliers
· Maintaining accurate records and documentation
To be successful in this role, you will have:
· Previous administration experience
· Experience in a mechanical or workshop environment (highly desirable)
· Strong computer skills and confidence using accounting software
· Excellent customer service and communication skills
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
· The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Manual driver’s licence desirable
