Finally got around to posting the journey of the 2007 KTM525exc rebuild on the business page

The Drunken Sailor aka KTM525exc is finally finished. What started off as a bit of a tidy up turned into a full blown restoration. Stripped down to a bare frame, blasted and painted then reassembled using new, refurbished or replacement parts. It’s been a bit of a journey fitting it in between other things going on when I had some spare time.

Velocette head and barrel in for some loving. 60+ years of oil, dirt, paint and carbon built up which was very stubborn to remove. I used all the tools in my arsenal to get the job done. Barrel repainted in satin heatproof paint and baked 🍪 to perfection 😏
