BSR Automotive | Independent Ford Specialists

If you own a Ford Ranger or Transit, this is something you don’t want to ignore 👇

We’re seeing more vehicles coming through the workshop needing wet timing belt replacements — and it’s critical maintenance that can save you thousands.

💡 What’s the go?
Unlike traditional timing belts, these engines run a wet belt system (belt running in oil). Over time, the belt can degrade, contaminate the oil system, and lead to serious engine damage if left too long.

🔧 Our recommendation:
Replace your wet timing belt no later than 180,000km — earlier if your vehicle sees heavy use, towing, or stop-start driving 120-150,000km

🚨 Why it matters:
• Prevents catastrophic engine failure
• Protects oil system components
• Keeps your Ranger or Transit running reliably
• Saves you from a very costly repair bill

At BSR Automotive, we specialise in Ford vehicles and know these platforms inside and out. Whether it’s preventative maintenance or a full replacement, we’ve got you covered.

📍 Independent. Experienced. Trusted.

Most people forget about their car’s air conditioning once winter hits—but that’s exactly when problems start brewing ❄️🚗

Keep Your HVAC System Healthy This Winter with BSR Automotive

Just because you’re not blasting cold air doesn’t mean your air conditioning system isn’t working. Your vehicle’s HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning) system is running year-round—and winter is the perfect time to keep it in top shape.

👉 Why winter servicing matters:

* Prevents mould & bacteria build-up – Moisture can sit in the system, causing bad smells and unhealthy air.
* Keeps seals lubricated – Running and servicing the system stops seals from drying out and leaking gas.
* Ensures demister performance – Your AC helps clear foggy windows quickly—critical for safe winter driving.
* Avoids costly repairs later – Small issues now can turn into expensive fixes in summer.

At BSR Automotive, we’ll inspect, clean, and service your HVAC system to make sure it’s working efficiently when you need it most—hot or cold.

📍 Stay comfortable, breathe clean air, and avoid surprises when summer comes back around.
