Guenther Steiner, former Haas F1 team principal, is finalizing the purchase of the Tech3 MotoGP team for over €20 million. Backed by investment firm Apex, Steiner plans to gradually take over operations from current boss Herve Poncharal. The team’s staff and riders are expected to remain, with KTM continuing as bike supplier until 2026.

🗓 When: Sunday, 26th January (Day before the public holiday)
📍 Where: Queensland Raceways - Switchback Circuit
🎉 Who: Open to all levels of riders!

🏁 Ride Day Groups & Guidelines
🚦 Yellow Group (Racers/Advanced Track Day Riders)

Who: Pro riders or experienced track riders.
Lap Times: Below 1:14.
Passing: Allowed into corners.
🚦 Green Group (Experienced Track Day Riders)

Who: Riders with solid track day experience.
Lap Times: Below 1:19.
Passing: Allowed into corners.
🚦 Blue Group (Street or Moderate Track Riders)

Who: Riders with a good pace but less track experience.
Lap Times: Below 1:25.
Passing: Allowed only on straights and corner exits.
🚦 Red Group (Beginners/New Riders to QR Moto)

Who: First-timers or those new to QR Moto Ride Days.
Lap Times: Below 1:35.
Passing: Not allowed in corners. This is a training-focused group with QR Moto staff providing guidance throughout the day.
