Colin Cooke - Celebrating 40 Years of Service - 2025. Col was recognised by RACQ for his contribution at the Annual Conference held at Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast from the 6th to the 9th of November. We celebrated with a day at the RACQ Mobility Centre at Mount Cotton and a special patrol recognition service as a part of the conference. Col received a Service Award and Stewart Welsh spoke lots of lovely words about Col. On behalf of Menzies Auto Service - Col, we are so very appreciative of you, your loyalty, your mate ship and your dedication. You are unique and as Stew said your loyalty and versatility are unprecedented and unmatched. Your vehicle setup with your tools and equipment is another level and not seen in the Level 1 network. Your dedication is something rare and quite possibly will not be seen again! Thanks Col from Wayne, Matt and all the team at Menzies Auto Service.

A personal thank-you from Wayne - So many lovely comments for Ray and Del. I know they both would have appreciated the kind words, respect, thoughts and prayers as much as we all have. Oh my conscious! - Some names that I haven't heard from for a long time. Hearing from you all has brought many great memories back to me. From the entire team and on behalf of the Menzies Family we thank you all very much.

With a Sad filled heart we wish to pass on this news - On 24th of October 2025 we lost Ray Menzies - Family Patriarch, Brother, Friend, Role Model, Idol, Mentor, Story-teller, Historian, Car Lover and an all round gentle and lovely man. Ray's decision was to have a private funeral and this was held on 31st October. We have taken time to come to terms with our loss and we want to take a moment now to honour him and let our Customers and Clients know. It has been a tough year as we also lost Rays wife Del in February. Together both Ray and Del established the business in 1964. They ran and built the Ampol together and later both Merv and Wayne joined them. Ray and Del were a big part of the Frenchville community for all of those years and were loved by all. We will miss his guidance, his humour, his mateship and all of the great stories of Baree and the many cars he owned. He will be remembered every day - Rest in Peace Ray - Forever missed.

➡️ Menzies Auto Service and Towing - servicing the Rockhampton community for 60 Years. We have been assisting RACQ members and the public with Towing Services for over 40 years. A Locally owned and operated Family business - we are currently seeking Tow Truck Operators.
➡️ The position is 40 hours per week, we pay above award rates. Some overtime and on-call is required on a rotating roster.
