❤️ We’re excited to share that Zoe was featured in the Auto Glass Association of Australia’s Member Spotlight, recognising women in the autoglass industry.
Reflecting on our journey — from starting out as a mobile-only service, to moving into our workshop space, navigating new technology, and focusing on the customer experience every step of the way — reminded us just how far Bathurst Windscreens has come.
🌟 Reaching 100 five-star reviews has been a milestone made possible by the trust and support of our customers. Your support has shaped our journey in so many ways, and we’re genuinely grateful for it.

Thank you for choosing Bathurst Windscreens.
In the Spotlight:
Zoe Bowrey – Bathurst Windscreens
For more than four years, Zoe Bowrey has been a familiar presence in the Autoglass industry,
helping shape the customer experience at Bathurst Windscreens, the business she co-owns
with her husband, Jim. What began as an idea in 2020—sparked by Jim’s two decades in
automotive body repair—has grown into a thriving local operation known for its
workmanship, service, and community focus.
The couple soft-launched the business in 2020 and officially opened their doors in October
2021 with a mobile-only service. By 2023, demand led to the establishment of a fully
operational workshop space. Zoe, who joined the business full time in April 2022, brought
with her a wealth of customer service experience from the public sector—expertise that has
become a cornerstone of the Bathurst Windscreens brand.
Today, Zoe manages customer service, administration, marketing, and bookkeeping, often
juggling enquiries from multiple channels—from website chat and Facebook messages to
phone calls, texts, and in-person appointments. She appreciates the flexibility that modern
technology offers, allowing the business to remain responsive even while on the move.
One of Zoe’s proudest achievements is reaching 100 five-star reviews, a milestone that
confirms the business is delivering on its promise of high-quality workmanship and customer
care. Personally, she celebrates the learning journey she has undertaken, from understanding
the intricacies of glass selection to navigating the rapidly evolving world of vehicle
technology.
Zoe is passionate about encouraging more women to pursue trade-based careers, especially
within Autoglass.
“Do it!” she says. “There’s so much to learn, and so much satisfaction in doing a job well.
Women bring strong attention to detail and a natural desire to meet customer needs.”

She also hopes to correct the misconception that Autoglass work is “easy.” Between
technique, precision, and increasing technological complexity, the industry requires
adaptability, skill, and a commitment to ongoing learning.
For Zoe, the most rewarding part of her role is helping customers understand the windscreen
replacement process and connecting with people from all walks of life. She’s motivated by
the belief that a person’s vehicle often represents far more than transport—it’s independence,
livelihood, and freedom.
When she’s not at work, Zoe enjoys spending time with Jim, attending Mass, and diving into
personal development books. She proudly admits she’s a “business and self-help junkie.”
To make the industry more inclusive, Zoe suggests finding new ways for members to connect
at events such as the AGA conferences, perhaps even introducing some friendly competition
similar to the US Auto Glass Expo. “It’s a great way to showcase excellence, collaboration,
and pride in what we do,” she says.
Her favourite motto—“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, you’re
right”—perfectly reflects the mindset that has guided her on this journey
