Family, four-wheel driving, and a massive podium finish! 🏆🚙
Talk about a full-circle weekend for our business! This weekend, we took our kids out to a four-wheel drive competition with the very same club we used to be part of 30 years ago — the awesome crew at On All 4's 4WD Club
To make the weekend even more sentimental, the kids competed in the exact same Nissan Patrol that we owned and drove when we were in the club all those years ago! Yes, we still have it, it's still going strong, and it clearly still knows it's way through the tracks.
Whilst we are mostly focused on touring these days rather than competitive driving, it was an absolute blast to step back into the competitive scene. The On all 4's team put on a phenomenal event, and they did a truly excellent job running the whole weekend.
We originally went just to give the kids a taste of the sport we love, but they ended up jumping right into the driver's seat. With their dad navigating, they absolutely dominated the tracks in the old Patrol:
* 🥇 Our daughter took out 1st Place!
* 🥉 Our son walked away with 3rd Place!
